We have tongue prints, iris patterns and potentially stripes too (Blaschko's lines). It's sad that you don't want something so uniquely you, and it's freaking bonkers that you said people without the motivation to even think about this would judge you for your prints at all. I don't think I've heard anyone in my life tell me anything about the "beauty standards" of fingerprints...I guess I've been blissfully ignorant to any of that my whole life, and possibly will continue to be ignorant of this unless I come back to this video. For me, I don't really hate it, it's the anxiety of having your unique patterns catalogued for the purpose of documenting your every move, crime, job, etc. I don't want my information or actions to be shared so easily. People don't always take the changes others go through very well, even if it doesn't actually affect them personally. I know I'd never look at someone the same if I found out something even as mundane as like how they put their milk in before their cereal, etc. Also...you can wear gloves. Allow yourself that privacy for a bit. You don't have to expose your fingerprint or cut them off so hastily. And the rest of the hand and foot still has a print, so I still really dunno why you're so obsessed with it at all. Altering your fingerprints puts more eyes and suspicion on your actions in the end, unfortunately. I feel like I got put on a list just looking up how people have attempted altering their own prints. Yeah, I know I didn't have to do that, but it's better to know about that than not know IMO. ...Yeah, I get there's more to identity than a role, and sometimes people don't want to be stuck in those preconcieved roles. It's not right, but having to move roles just to try to feel right doesn't feel right to me either. I feel stuck. I dunno if that's what you were getting at, but if so, I can relate.

I think I really needed to watch this video. For a long time, I've been... basically hovering around in that mindset the video says to avoid, and as a result getting nothing done whatsoever.

Finally, someone who understands my feelings! It’s so annoying when it happens. I have tried to talk to Loki about this and make it stop, but all he does is go on about how I am the chosen one. I’ve been thinking of contacting the other gods about this.

there is a lot of misconceptions here, i'm gonna try to list them: - scrying orbs are for the loosers that could't cope with being bad at wizard school and started scrying test answers after the true wizard chads doxxed their truename - the magical orb of protection is just a crap spell, and nothing changes that. if instead you build to get sun god's warding you can withstand a nuke blast and then minor restore to get rid of cancer -"society needs scientists" yeah bro we call them artificers and guess what: they use spells -magic is a waste of time? maybe but use reverse time and you have that time back -divination and transmutation wizards are socially akward, but battlemages are the biggest chads you can find (also they got ACTUAL MUSCLES) so to sum it up it seems like it was written by a guy from the thieves guild that wanted to get rid of the blame he gets for ruining people's life as a job, but from what i can tell you are a cool guy, just never been in wizard school and only seen that damn illusionists and diviners (f*ck diviners) so that's okay

I'll take and download as many random pictures and videos and save them all up over the course of a year on my phone just so I have something I must organise when I feel like taking the first step to learning something new.

I am the red monkey, and I realize that now. I want to be a game developer, ever is I was 7. I go to an art highschool and am surrounded by art created by other students, but only focus on the ones I think are “better” than mine. Now I think I took learning art, game dev, and concept art WAY too seriously. I’m only a sophomore, but I haven’t really drawn for anything but a grade since middle school… I’m going to open Clip Studio paint tonight and draw for fun, not for anything else.

It doesnt have to be hard. When you do an easy thing wrong over and over its easier to do it like its hard than to do it intuitively. I may be getting it wrong now, but i will be persistant, and will never do it like its hard

Long story short. Many years ago, I was doing database maintenance on a client's server. I missed step A and did step B directly. This would have ended up as a fairly disastrous data loss for the client and a bad situation for me too. The moment after I ran step B, I realized what I had done. But just within 1-3 seconds after executing step B, the process miraculously encountered an error, and the process was cancelled. I have this feeling that someone or something had intervened to help to stop the process. The error message was showing on the screen. My mouth opened, hand on the mouse, I was shocked and frozen. The unknown error had saved me from disaster. I was soulless until a couple of people walked past and saw my weird facial expression. Then my mind came back, and I carefully executed step A, followed by step B. This time, step B ended smoothly without error, which was expected. The day continued as normal without realizing the "world" was on the brink of extinction. To whoever or whatever is out there (maybe an AI), I sincerely thank you for your assistance in helping me. I truly appreciate that I won't have to go through a bad timeline. Thank you very much.
