My quick impression: This is the life of people who don't feel loved, who don't have a sense of belonging or a reason to live. They keep seing how love is the most fantastic thing and we live to love and all that- but they don't feel it. Then how would them live? they just need a single thing, a single tiny little thing to hold onto. they'll use this to survive, and they hope that one day, maybe they'll have more reasons, more people, more love. wanna see what yall think

I think the point of the video is that he shouldn't be searching for someone to fill the missing half of his face. In other words, he really needs to work himself out first, and he's going about it the wrong way. At least that's how i interpreted it.

It is really difficult to find love for yourself when you don’t know what to compare to I guess. We forget that someone else telling you they love you really says more about them than it does about you, in the same way that it would if they said they hated you. Humans are so social and we just wanna make connections to feel complete, but how can we if we don’t know what half our metaphorical “face” looks like? Maybe that makes sense

My Interpretation is that the guy can’t know what love really is because he does not love himself, what is hard to archive because there’s nothing to compare with. So how do you know when you love yourself? He says that he could start love himself and then he don’t need to be loved by someone else. But If he would be ok with himself he would see that other people start loving him, too.

Life ain't about getting the poontang anyway. There's more substance to it than that, and you have at least a few decades of time to worry about that question; why not just work with what you have for now instead? It's true there are some serious issues with the marriage laws, but I imagine that resolutions are better come about through action rather than abandon... but considering how you'd stated you're no longer in that circumstance, I imagine you already know that. I suppose I'll just leave this for whoever else might care anyway I guess

As he is surrounded by the idea that "Love is perfect and the ultimate step for achieving happiness", he becomes insecure about himself, thinking that he never gets accepted because he is "broken". So he tries to find one reason. Just one reason to like himself and don't find a need for someone else's love and appreciation. The thing is, this is a trap for falling into narcissism - not a clinical one, but the one where you pretend you don't need anyone because you are self-suficient. Your ego becomes inflated, but it's a fake fulfillment. You feel empty. You end up isolating yourself more, and honestly, it's like an endless cycle of getting disappointed for being "broken" and isolating yourself more, especially if you have depression. That's the way I see it, although I'm not sure what the solution would be... since I have this problem lmaoo Cheers to that ☆
