Crabs body size was more impressive than the antlers. What a gigantic example of a mature buck

He was as impressive as impressive gets when it comes to antler but he simply stood in a class of his own when it came to sheer brute size. Double clicked the fast forward twice and still haven’t got to the video yet. When did Midwest get so into commercials?
You only get one first year. Year one for me is a million cameras in every concevable location. Then it is about what you learned from your observations and camera info. You need to know what your census is what you are happy with and what could be better. Year two is always work on the negatives. Year 3 for me is reevaluate year 2 compared to year one and then gradually add improvements. I have never been disappointed with my properties where i have done that. I am not shy with a chainsaw but i always cut about 1/2 -1/3 of what i think i need too and test the results. You cant uncut a tree. You also can make foodplots bigger each year till you reach optimal size. The #1 mistake i have seen people make is too big plots. You can make plots nocturnal or so big they become unhuntable. Pretty good advice in this video

i have had my 200 acres in northeast mo for 24 yrs now and have loved every minute of work time i put in , my improvements have been slow but productive, glad to see things going well for you to , have a great season thi fall
