My only criticism would be to park your bike leaning away from where you sleep. Especially since your pillow is under where the bike would fall if the stand sunk in. Great video though.

Looking to get into camping this year instead of hotels when on tour. I have the sleeping bag, pillow, mattress etc. Just need a tent, cooking gear and a seat. Handy to see what your using

Lots of great kit out there now Sion.. finding the sweet spot in comfort, usefulness and portability is key. My kit is heavy and I could save weight in a few places.. you can always fall back on booking.com if it all fails. I have done that in the past when the weather turns bad.

Nice video, thanks!! It's been ages since I've watched one of your uploads, no idea why not, prob those algorithms.... I'll go back and watch since back catalogue content! Just passing on a tip i read elsewhere a few years ago when i started using my Lone Rider moto tent; good idea to park the bike the other way around.... if the side stand sinks into the ground, or something mechanically fails (i know, low chance), then it'll fall straight onto you while you're sleeping. Sorry, don't want to be "that smart arse" guy, or teaching to suck eggs. ;o) Looking forward to the next vid!

How do you get the swinging arm out if it is lifting it from the swinging arm pivot ?

This biggest issue is the exhaust valve. I have the same setup and it sounds horrendous with the valve plugged in. Unplug it and its 10x better and deeper sounding.

Will never compare to 2 stroke...those were/ are so much more fun high revving has the sound and smell that can't b beat. Remember bikers loud pipes save lives. On the safety aspect new 4 strokes are safer but have lost all the thrill of what they are meant to

No, it's why I still do it!. don't get me wrong I'd love more interaction but you need to be able to justify the money spent. It's been thousands of pounds for me and lots of frustration when equipment doesn't work but I keep plugging away. Good luck with the channel 👍

Nice set up mate, nice to see you back. Recently set up my own channel so it's all a massive learning curve. Already dumped GoPro and have DJI 4 plus Mic 2. Like yours Im getting a bit of reverb, not sure what to adjust, any ideas. FB👍

It's not perfect by any means but definitely better than my old gopro setup.. offers much more flexibility. if you haven't found the gain setting it is part of pro mode on the camera. -12 is where I'm at but it still peaks in places. I'm also using a Lav mic which I might change or at least try a few others. I think the noise cancelling settings might be causing reverb so I'm going to try it with it turned off. Cheers FB ✊️😀

Gives you flexibility too because you can plop the camera down somewhere and still able to talk to it 'piece to camera' sort of stuff. 6 months between rides on the GS. Your almost as bad as me at getting out for a spin. Mic is fine but video had a foggy look to it at times. ( maybe glare )

I like these and took one out for a test ride. I am thinking of buying one in the next week or so BUT. there is no way I can live with the shit exhaust headers, I can not believe Honda put such quality headers on the bikes. I have been looking at loads with less than 5000 miles even lots with less than 2000 miles and the headers are fucked. My fz1 I just sold is 9 years old and the headers on that still looked new. Very poor Honda. I am pricing up new headers before I consider buying one. I like my bikes to be mint So just can not spend 9k on a bike that has headers that look like they are off a bike that was just pulled out of a canal.

Just found your channel. You4r bike really is a beautiful thing. I have a Falco with race pipes and its very tidy. Used to own an 03 plate Mille and what fun they are to ride. The looks, engine braking, etc etc. Yes, I'd say Aprilia are at the top of their game just now. Ride safe buddy.

@@sund5 ahh I think I see what's going on, One Cobra system is made in Germany and I think that's the one you're talking about.. this system is made in Britain by a company that predominantly makes good car systems and this is them dipping their toe into the bike world. Great to see and hear from you again, and I am more than happy to follow your photography socials as I too found photography during the lockdown as a real help for me mentally. Hopefully you can teach me anything to help me, especially with how the hell I see and capture the Northern Lights up here in the Highlands lol Loved the fact you keep the bike ramps in the van just in case! I like these and took one out for a test ride. I am thinking of buying one in the next week or so BUT. there is no way I can live with the shit exhaust headers, I can not believe Honda put such quality headers on the bikes. I have been looking at loads with less than 5000 miles even lots with less than 2000 miles and the headers are fucked. My fz1 I just sold is 9 years old and the headers on that still looked new. Very poor Honda. I am pricing up new headers before I consider buying one. I like my bikes to be mint So just can not spend 9k on a bike that has headers that look like they are off a bike that was just pulled out of a canal.

Just found your channel. You4r bike really is a beautiful thing. I have a Falco with race pipes and its very tidy. Used to own an 03 plate Mille and what fun they are to ride. The looks, engine braking, etc etc. Yes, I'd say Aprilia are at the top of their game just now. Ride safe buddy.

Nice! Are you still happy with it? I had the SC CR-T on my 2020 but it was just too loud when you were riding more than an hour. I have the Akra now but its just to quiet... Did you keep it after this season? Thought?
Nope, definitely going to change it.. just too loud, draws all the wrong attention if you know what I mean? Haven't decided, probably SC 🤷♂️

@@KaiserWheelHelm are you sure sc road with db killer is more quiet than cobra with db killer? Those sc i know is always freaking loud. When I bought a cobra, it came with 3 different DB killers. That was super nice I think, so you could tune the sound :-)
@@sund5 ahh I think I see what's going on, One Cobra system is made in Germany and I think that's the one you're talking about.. this system is made in Britain by a company that predominantly makes good car systems and this is them dipping their toe into the bike world. This slip on doesn't have a dB killer
I’ve got a lwb Citroen van that I use as an occasional camper. It’s not as organised as your setup. I just use an air bed but it works ok.
If it works Colin, it works.. If I was on my own I'd probably do the same, gotta keep the women happy though.. happy woman happy (quiet) life... although saying that, now that it's coming together I'm liking it more and more 😀
Great to see and hear from you again, and I am more than happy to follow your photography socials as I too found photography during the lockdown as a real help for me mentally. Hopefully you can teach me anything to help me, especially with how the hell I see and capture the Northern Lights up here in the Highlands lol Loved the fact you keep the bike ramps in the van just in case! Keep smiling, and am looking forward to future projects. By the way, loved the pictures of the Robins on the insta, they always make me feel like they're a lost pet visiting. Thanks Darren, crikey anything Northern lights/Astronomical I wouldn't have a clue.. might be something I have a go at one night camping whilst I'm looking up at the heavens though. I have a regular Robin atm, he takes food out of my hand. I'm blessed to have him singing everyday, beautiful little character. I'll keep posting pictures

We've all been there, figured if I have a ramp with me I can at least try and help. Yeah dunno about the other channel, thought the same, keep the two separated. Tbh I can barely keep one going atm 😂
