Had to come back to see this absolute beauty again Kaiser. Wonder job you did here mate. Thank you! Now deciding on either the Kalamatta Mat Exclusive (Olive), as I do love olives, or the Blue/white HP version. The GSA for me is only way to go. These beasts just exude the robust presence of size out on the road that is critical for exposure adding an extra element of needed safety which cannot be denied is a benefit. So bigger is better. Awesome bike!

Not gonna say anything... I'll be all nice and friendly... Honestly, if you really love it, buy it. We both know how short life can be by experience - how many years will we be able to still handle the height and weight of these bikes physically? 20? Too short to compromise imho. Reason why I bought mine - not gonna compromise on the biggest passion of my life... Simple, really... Do it and enjoy every moment of it!

I rode/owned a string of the latest and greatest, radical sports bikes many, many thousands of miles, over 35 yrs. I’ve done it! Did club racing, track day instruction but then decided to explore biking from a different point of view, so bought a new GSA LC a few years ago - I’m now on my second, but soon to be on my third (1250). We can’t all like the same things in life, and I do quite like my GSA and also like it’s utilitarian look - it looks like a piece of military equipment.

I'm pretty much in the same place, SD.. raced road and offroad, instructed at my local circuit.. rode my first bike in 1976.. If you came to me twenty years ago and said you'd be riding a GS with aluminium panniers I would of laughed in your face.. but now I get it, it does everything.

I would add a set of Clearwater 7k lumen lights with a Clearwater LED license plate brake light and a Denali Sound Bomb 120 decibel horn. Then this GSA is absolutely perfect. Love this bike too and will be buying one soon.

Rode one last week, compared to my 2015, smoother, faster, better brakes, much more pull in higher gears, loved it. Even seemed to handle better than my standard Triple Black. The throttle control is sublime and I couldn’t feel any step when you gave it ‘the beans’, my choice the Exclusive with wire wheels, I love black bikes. If they did a black GSA I might be tempted but don’t need the bigger tank, weight or the purchase price...hoping to a do a deal in the New Year.

Thanks for the video KWH, food for thought. My current GSA will be 3 years old in September, so I will consider trading it. Not too sure about the colour schemes at the moment and maybe they’ll change for the 2020 bike; not sold on the Ice Grey or the Green (which looked brown/gold when I saw it at NEC, but I am colour blind), quite like the HP colour but not the gold wheels. My bike does have the improved gearbox and I’m not that fussed about the TFT screen, keyless, etc. It’s all personal of course, but will definitely test the new one. Thanks again; cheers, Andy.

This is a good lesson to those Manufacturers who want to save pennies on a Premium Product! Not Happy. Lots of pissed off Customers who cannot purchase GS or GSA. Lots of current customers who cannot get their bikes fixed. I have to checked the front calipers before and after every ride in case if there is a leak.

@@KaiserWheelHelm It's sure one of the greatest "Tourers" out there - But not to my likings. I rode one a few weeks back and it was good, but for my taste lack of "soul". I wait for the 790 Adventure R to be mine...

@@jakeizlove ahh! Ok that makes sense.. I've decided to keep my GS and I'm now on the search for a second bike 😉 more than likely going to be a SDR but I'm going to ride a load of bikes before I make up my mind 😀👍 plus I need to recover from paying off all the finance on the GS first 😩

@@KaiserWheelHelm I rode an S1000XR a couple of years ago and found it 'tippy', but fast. Haven't tried a GS, yet. I love how the GS/GSA look but am not an off-road kind of guy. Previous bike was an R9T but some old, inattentive, guy smacked me and trashed the poor thing in August.

@@jakeizlove I'm sorry to hear that.. the GS isn't to everyone's taste admittedly, all bikes appeal differently to different people, I just like that it's a do everything bike (except for speed). That's why I kept mine.. I can't imagine not having a GS in the garage. Sometimes though you need to have the fun bike and that's what I'm looking for now. GS stays, fun bikes will change. 😀

You didn't hear what I said.. I did over a thousand miles that day in 18 hours to get home. The journey from Italy to the channel tunnel (Calais Northern France) part was 960 miles, I did that part of the journey on two tanks, although my computer still said I had 23 left in the tank when I got there, so not far of a thousand.

18k for a bike 😲😲, really. You put yourself into massive debt for a bike when there are plenty of cheaper ones. Must have money to burn.
