My goal is to raise $8,000 to $12,000 dollars to pay for my dream car, a 1969 Dodge Dart, just by scrapping metals, computers and other electronics. Many of the items I get for free, but some things I'll purchase cheap at yard sales, estate sales and auctions. I even have a few clients who, for a finders fee, will gather items for me. If I can make more money than scrap value by selling on Craig's list or Ebay that's where I'll go. Anything it takes to make money and get my car. Please check out my videos and like & subscribe. Thanks & Take Care.

Great I love ❤️ this way of saving I am doing it now
It works. I'm still saving this way too. Take Care.
Thanks I am back to saving after all these years I am retired now but I had to go on disability for severall years due to illness but I am saving again it the greatest I have felt in years nobody can tell me loose change and dolkers bills don't add up you can save alot this way nothing to save up a couple thousand a year this way it's great
@@larrymapes1865 That's why I made the video to show how something so simple can save $1,000's like you said! Good luck to you and I hope you keep getting stronger.
$2.48 lb my area
Where is place you sell your copy machines at, mate. Are they still open
Yes, they are still open. I sell to a local scrap yard that buys printers and copy machines at the "appliance" rate. It doesn't pay very much per pound, but it helps pay for gas. Take Care.
awesome job I do this as well😊
It adds up fast.
Slacker! Get back to work. I found you though.
Lol!
Very nice
are you interested in a huge model kit and slot car collection?
Is it vintage or newer stuff?
You can look me up on face book under Kerry Day or email me [email protected] and send photos . Thanks.
@@Scrapping4aDart all vintage...
@@Scrapping4aDart some kits are newer but mostly all vintage unbuilt
@@timmymcclouds6905 I would be interested. Please send photos to either personal message in face book or to my email address. Thanks.
What? No nickel?
Yes Nickel Chrome Elements.
I always loved your videos. You helped get me into scrapping. Hope your alive and doing well.
Still alive. I appreciate your kind words. Take Care.
If you use a cutting wheel, and cut them in half length ways, everything falls apart.
Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it. Take Care.
What type of scale do you have there
It's an Accuteck brand. It can be set to grams, ounces or pounds. Max weight is 110 pounds. Thanks.

Make that first step and go for it! You will do great!
Cast iron sinks are trending fix em flip em 200-1k
I wish I still had it. It's long gone now. If I find another, I will try reselling it for sure. Thanks.
I just hit the plastic parts with a hammer and then it just leaves the wire and doesn’t damage it
I'll have to try it. Thanks!
What would you suggest a person to do if they came into a large amount of vintage models most are not put together. How is the best way to find out what they could be sold for?
Ebay is the best way. You can do a search and type in the model brand and type exactly as show on the box. Then check the completed section for what they sold for. That is the best way. I do buy vintage collections as long as they are from the 1960's and 70's mainly. I do buy some early 80's stuff. Thanks.
I have lots of kits and die cast models and I need to dispose them. I have like Code 3, AMTs and so on. They were my ex's stuff.
Are they vintage kits? I might be interested in buying them.
@@Scrapping4aDart It says collectibles, I am not sure if they are vintage. I saw some old boxes, inside packages are still intact.
Can I get a few photos? Thanks.
@@mssalazar1282 You could send me a photo is you like to [email protected] Thanks.
@@Scrapping4aDart sure! How do you want me to send it? I dont know how to send it here. I posted some on offerup, it says model kits and collectibles. Thank you
I started to do this last year and honestly I wish I had started earlier. Just last month, I was able to deposit 600 $1 bills into my savings account, which was a great feeling.
That's awesome Cedrick! I'm proud of you! Keep it up. It adds up so fast. Take Care.
Are you coming out with new videos soon?
I hope to. I have plenty of videos already made I just haven't uploaded for a while. My full-time job has taken a lot of my free time.
My neighbor down the block just put a cast iron kohler sink out by the curb. That sink was an absolute beast to get up and in my trunk. It is a tan Kohler double sink (date stamped 1992) Not sure if I should try ti resell it or scrap ir. Its in excellent shape and still very nice condition I think it would bring at least $10 if scraped.
No harm in trying to sell it first. If it doesn't sell just scrap it. Take Care.
I covenant those things. Thanks.
This Video inspired me 8 yrs.Ago… Till then i’m saved a lot of money, and This so True every November i’ll spend it for Christmas gifts etc. now 3 House and Lots Car and Taxi for business.

Use a propane torch to get ALL of the club handle out and you’ll have Clean aluminum.
Thanks so much! I would have never thought of that. Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it.
I like to feed my jar a fiver or 10 spot and every once in awhile an Andrew Jackson
That would really add up!!!
I really hope this comment reaches you. Thanks for the motivation! I’m considering buying and reselling scale models myself, so i can pay for parts for my dream car that I currently own…a 1969 Dodge Dart also! I wish you the best of luck on the journey towards your 69 Dart!
Right On!!! Good luck on your journey! It seems like every time I get the money saved something keeps coming up and I have to use it for something else. I'm not giving up though. Take Care.
@@Scrapping4aDart Same here always something but hey we’ll get there eventually! And you take care as well!
Helpful
Thanks.
Yes! Keep doing videos like this. I love scrap! I must have over 1,000 # of aluminum scrap to clean as well as a lot of brass and copper. I have several computers but they aren't worth anything as the local yard won't take them. I have two scrap wagons just about full of scrap iron. But, no time to mess with scrap.
There are online buyers for computer boards. I would save them all. At the very least keep the gold ram and cpu. They are small and add up fast. I'm also addicted to scrap and like you have very little time to sort everything. Thanks for your comment. Take Care.
Perfect partnership! I'm enjoying these videos so don't stop. Love the curiosity tins. Take care, Poo
Thanks Poo. I'll do more uploads when I can. Take Care.
Those Motorola phones are collectable, so sell that. I love going through that small stuff as well, never know what's in those boxes and tins. I'm enjoying your vids, keep em coming. Kevin from nz
I wasn't aware of the value of those old phones. I have a huge bag I got from a business. I'll have to go through those too. Thanks for the tip. Take Care.

Hi Kevin. I appreciate you following me for so many years. I apologize for not getting more videos up lately. I'm still scrapping but I have a lot going on with my regular job and I started hitting my eBay business harder because I make more on there than scrap. I will try to get more videos up. Take Care.
