Scrapping A Massive Load Of Dell Computers, Hard Drives & Test Equipment!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hello KZread Scrappers! I know, I know, it's been awhile since my last video. What can I say? Life is busy. With a full time job and 3 part time businesses It's hard to find the time to load videos. I found out from a fellow viewer that I now need 10,000 views on each video to start getting paid by KZread advertising again? Some of my videos have well over that and they still don't show ads? Can anybody help me with this? Anyone having this problem too? Anyway, I got this load in a while back. One of the best loads in the last year. 30 + Dell Towers, over 100 hard drives, 40 Dell ports, vintage science department test equipment and a lot more. I've got my work cut out for me here but loads like this are pure gravy. I love scrapping! I hope you all are out there getting scrap contracts live I've talked about in my other videos. Make sure you have proof that you are scrapping responsibly. You never know when the government will knock on your door! I hope you like this video and that it inspires you to go out there and start your business today. Please Like & Subscribe (help get me to 10,000 subscribers)! Take Care & God Bless!

Recently I had a Selectric IBM typewriter. I had a hard time trying to decide what to do with it. Sadly I ended up scrapping it because it would take too much work trying to fix it up, and too big/heavy to ship. I took the motor out and a couple other pieces to sell on ebay.

I can understand that for sure. I do the same on some things. Some people here on YT don't understand that shipping cost are too high to sell some items. Some buyers won't pay it. It's better to scrap. Take Care.

Hi Kerry! Love what you are doing here. I just came across a huge box of old cords- like 40-50 lbs. All types of stuff. Amp cables, printer stuff, the skinny kind with clear plastic ends and gold pins, coax, and a couple mics items like a huge board and a PC power supply. Not sure how to get the most for my money. The stuff is untested. Hoping you could stear me I the right direction. Thanks.

Hi Brian. After a lot of experimenting I've found the most money to be made is by taking the time to cut all the cord ends off. Any female cord ends go right into a dirty brass bin. The male ends I pull out the brass. Any cord end with gold bearing pins/contacts I put in another bin. Check with your yard and see what they buy first. I separate Cords into 3 categories. Communications (phone wire), standard cords (like microwave, vcr cords), and ribbon wire (from printers, computers). My yard pays different rates for each of these. The phone wire goes for the most because it has higher amounts of copper. Hope that helps. Take Care.

Awesome! I will do that! Most of my stuff looks new so I might try selling as-is first. How do you sell the gold-bearing ends? Thanks!

Your right. I wasn't, but every bit helps. I did some research on a YT forum and a lot of people are having this problem. A lot of advertisers and leaving YT for some reason. Oh well, I'll just keep making videos. I make way more scrapping a month than I do on YT anyway. Thanks.
