Making More Money Seperating Copper & Aluminum From A Computer Server.

Hello KZread Scrappers! Yes I'm still alive! I've had a lot of set backs in the last year but I'll get into that in a future video. Let's just say God closed a window in my life and opened a door. So over the next few months I'll be uploading videos I shot last year that never got uploaded. Around the end of December I'll give you a look into the future of my scrapping career and also a peek at my new and updated eBay business ventures. I appreciate all of you who didn't consider my channel as "dead!" A comeback is on the way. This video shows you what is inside one of the many computer server components I get in. I hope it shows you the importance of breaking down electronic scrap. There is so much more money to be made. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Take Care & God Bless all of you!

Thanks Simon.
Hey Kerry! Good info video!! Just wanted to mention that because the unit had battery and this big power board the unit is not a PC server.. It is a UPS, invertor from DC 12 or 24V to 110 AC.. or somne kind of power unit.

Thanks for the info. It came with a bunch of other components and server items so I figured they were related. But I wasn't sure. The only thing I am sure of is that I enjoyed scrapping it. Those heat sinks and copper coils are awesome in these. Take Care.

I'm doing good man! I've been saving up a bunch of smaller items to scrap when the snow hits. It will keep me busy until spring. Great to hear from you. Take Care.

Man I'm slow on getting back to youtube comments! Sorry Man!!! eBay has become my priority over scrapping right now anyway. Way more money!!! Anyway, it is snowing right now in fact but it is too warm to stick. Next weeks forecast looks colder!!! Glad I have my new 4x4 !!!! Your car scrappin' videos are awesome!!!!!!!! My buddy just bought a car trailer. He got is specifically to haul his buick grand sport to a restorer. I told him he should start doing car hauling! There are free cars on Craig's list! You go pick them up, part them out and take the rest to the yard. U should do that too man!!!!! If you get successful remember I gave you the idea lol!!!!! Take Care.

Hi Vincent. I didn't make one this year. I figured the last few years of doing it gave everyone the idea. But If I had known there was still interest from viewers I would have. Sorry about that.
How do you contact a college for their scrap? Email, phone call, or what? Who do you talk to? Any info would be helpful! And if you don’t mind me asking how much do you make monthly from scrapping? Thanks

Hello. I went in person and talked to the college. Some schools have surplus departments. They sell off old equipment/computers etc... to college students and the public. What doesn't sell is what your after. Tell them you will take all unsold items for free. It works!!! The amount I make depends monthly as I only cash in when my bins are all completely full. I work full time so scrapping is only part time. Let's just say in the last two years I'm made $1,000's!!! The more time you put into it the more you will get out of it.
What about all that tantalum ?

I don't really have a buyer for that. Do you? I think I did see on the scrap metal forum guys buying that but I didn't want to ship.
