Great work young man on a great car. Good quality red oxide is excellent stuff as can be see on the original panels. Another good protective paint is Fosroc Galvafroid. It's a high zinc content cold galvanizing paint. It's heavy stuff, nice and toxic so we know it must be good and is best brush applied. None of this modern water based paint is any use at all. You are getting there now. The wings are much better than i expected as they usually rot badly on the back edge and where the mud gets flung up behind the headlights. The sills can be a pain as they are three piece like the MGB i think it was. There is the inner, then a strengthener then the outer. People do get carried away when cutting them out and find once they have finished the doors don't fit. Mind you the door and sill alignment were never great.

Hi Tom Thompson Yea, i could have done it better way, but sometimes panels get cut too short, mistakes happen, it would take a longer time to remove the floor pan, weld 5mm extra on to the panel, I also won't be able to paint inside the weld once its welded. Yea I should have had my leather gloves and the guard on, I will remove the the guard to get in to tighter areas sometimes.
