Finally continuing the floorpan and rear chassis restoration on this Jaguar XJC 4.2
Getting on with the passenger rear chassis area and making new sections for those areas.

Great work young man on a great car. Good quality red oxide is excellent stuff as can be see on the original panels. Another good protective paint is Fosroc Galvafroid. It's a high zinc content cold galvanizing paint. It's heavy stuff, nice and toxic so we know it must be good and is best brush applied. None of this modern water based paint is any use at all. They go on about "saving the planet" then try to force us to buy crap which doesn't work!
