Progress on this Ford Consul, beginging to repair the drivers side rear wheelarch sections.
Working out the best position for the new panel and skin pinning it in position.
Next I will be making a new section for the rear section of the rear drivers side quarter panel.

Great job keep up the good work
Bit of a mess Fergus. As you say, a really proper restoration is just not feasible time and money wise. All you can hope for is to get some metal back in and make it solid again. Can you obtain inner arch repair panels?

Yea definitely, not sure, I will probably have to fabricate a good amount of the inner sections

Ex-pressed panels sell those inner housing as well as boot floor sections but as you say where do you stop especially when a budget is factored in to it. Considering the rot and filler on the outside there is a lot more of the inner left than I expected.
