  I don’t believe in religion generally. I don’t believe in gospel written by imperfect humans. But I do believe in God and I believe that even in religion you can have true, genuine experiences. I’ll never tell you that what you felt wasn’t real, because I believe it probably was.

  @@InsideTripNinja it’s the first step in the sanctification process. Far too many claim it’s required for salvation but that would mean salvation is by faith and works and we can do nothing to save ourselves other than humble ourselves repent and believe. Jesus said it is finished. He did it all.

  Head knowledge vs Heart knowledge...however in the oriental view, Heart is all that we are with the Six senses additional to the circumscribed Head knowledge limited by the Intellectual process. The major so-called scientific discoveries were not "discovered"/ but uncovered intuitively in meditative states of mind. Only later are they explained and defined by methodical means to be reproducible and applicable for practical purposes in every day life.

  Casual relationship or sex establishes the standards of long relationship. Casual relationship/sex is just for connection, while long relationship or traditional is about growth as you mentioned. Thanks
