Neil's journey with yoga began at a young age, influenced by his mother, who immersed him in yoga classes and meditation from childhood. He grew up surrounded by the teachings of his guru, Paramahansa Yogananda, laying the foundation for a lifelong connection to yoga and spirituality.
In his twenties, Neil faced a profound challenge when he was diagnosed with cancer. Despite being a yoga teacher, he found himself struggling immensely with life. After exploring various natural remedies, it was a deep surrender to yoga that ultimately transformed his battle with cancer. Through disciplined practice, including asanas, pranayama, meditation, and the study of yoga scripture, Neil experienced a profound shift in his being. His immunity and genes responded to his inner work, leading to the cessation of the disease.
