  Do you know of any methods to undo the Atomic Stretch? I have a video where the atomic stretch effect was already applied, but I'm trying to revert it back to 4:3 and it doesn't seem like I can.

  Hi, thanks for the insightful tutorial. I want to copy the value of the RGBA color array so that I can direcly use it in next-step color expression but I find it not act like a normal text layer and not be able to copy the value. After few times trying, the value i get is 'EEEE'. Do you happen to know how to copy the text value with expression in your first comp?

  Ok, well after a little digging, some help from ChatGPT-4o and my extremely rudimentary skill in being able to read code I was able to add a multipler to the line "var endNum=effect(z('0x1a'))(z('0x8')) * 2;" So.....If you need to get a number higher than 10 million, set that multiplier at the end to a higher number and adjust your animation accordingly. I don't really know what I'm doing so it's not a perfect solution but change that multiplier past 2 and you'll get a higher number out of it.

  This does work but it won't allow you to use white in whatever you have. For my case, I was exporting an alpha background into a mp4 video. The video format does not support alpha layers at all and turns the alpha into black. If you're watching this video for similar context, a better way to get a video with an alpha background is to export the video as a png sequence and import that directly into after effects. The lines are much cleaner and you're able to use white etc..

This was not only the best answer i was looking for. but the way you explained it enabled me to understand and modify it for my specific needs which were quite different. The if/then kinda needed to be like "ONLY modify if it goes beyond a certain bound" and BOOM. Can't even tell you how much I appreciate you.

  trying this in AfterEffects 2024, having a hard time getting the random/polarize time/wiggle expression to work :/ I think I typed it exactly as shown, anyone else having this issue or know how to troubleshoot??
