stock footage is a nightmare to work with in muzzle scenarios. This plug is invaluable
I own the red giant suite and literally had no clue this was in it! haha, will definitely be using it if I'm in a rush!

To vary the rate of firing you can assign a smaller number of rounds like 3, then click ADD KEYFRAMES. It will only fire 3 rounds. Duplicate your BANG layer and change the number of rounds you want and ADD KEYFRAMES there. Then repeat this throughout the shot. That way you aren't limited to steady firing...OR delete the trigger keyframes where you want the shooting to pause. I hope this helps!

Unfortunately I don't think Red Giant (now Maxon) even sells individual products anymore :( I think you have to buy the whole suite (1 time payment) or subscribe.
