  THANK YOU for actually taking off the capsule! You've confirmed to me that the capsules are replaceable and that they are actually Shure Beta58a copy capsules which is what I want. It's literally the first thing I would do so I'm amazed that I've been through many reviews and nobody even seems to have even thought of it.

  good afternoon, thanks for your review Does the Typhon 15 have noticeably better bass compared to the Typhon 12? The size of Typhon 15 is huge, Typhon 12 is simply small in comparison I choose for electronic dance music, which is better - wharfedale typhon or macki thump 212 and 215, what can you say about this in comparison? I also have a sub wharfedale t sub 15, and I'm thinking of buying another one

  Hi, can you recommend some monitor speakers to connect to the Aux1 and Aux2 inserts? I do have that mixer and has been very useful with my band, but we need to add some monitors so we can hear better ourselves on stage.

  You will have much better luck with an Apple device on the Soundcraft. An external router of any kind is also always a great idea.

  I got a Beryl AX router from router and used double sided tape to tape it over the WiFi sign. My rack case cover still closes over it. I turned off the 2.4ghz network and just use 5ghz. Don’t know the range but I’m always close to the mixer and don’t have any problems. Using my iPhone with it is a real pain though.

  Can you use the hdmi for monitor? And the usb for mouse and keyboard? For UI16

  I stopped using my Ui12 because the connection was not reliable enough. It would only work hard wired. It would not stay connected on wifi. Either the built in hotspot or a external router.

  Nope. Mine is always connected to an external WiFi6 router. Never had issues and not going to risk using the internal WiFi router.

  Great video- but I'm unclear on one thing. I'm not sure that the crossover works as both a low pass for the sub and and high pass for the tops, I think it may just be a low pass point for the subs and not affect the tops. Can you confirm that this crossover affects the tops also? Thanks!

  I have a wireless mic system prewired in and a power strip, so nothing crazy. The wireless mics are nice because I can walk into an event and just run my mains and be ready for speaking events. It is overkill for DJing but I do bring it to some events as well.

  Best bet would be a factory reset and if that doesn't work contact SoundCraft as something could be physically wrong.

  no ,, low cut sectio will afect the sub , low cut will cut all signals sub and top

  I just bought one (Arktik Blu) and love it. I keep going back and forth as to swapping out the stock ceramic pick-ups with alnico's, but so far the they sound great.

  If you get the footswitch it turns this into a pretty professional gig amp ... Use tone room to adjust the levels of the modulation pedals and control the midrange eq ... The ac30 setting sounds just like am ac30 ... Most fans and people at a gig will not be able to tell that its not an ac30 trust me

  I'm still trying to find out how to seitch the guitar fx on and off without having to switch snapshots of the entire mix or having to touch the mixer. Is there some sort of footpedal to control the effects on/off via midi somehow?

  There is a footswitch input on the side but I have never used it. I would take a read through the manual and see it will do what you are looking for, could solve your issue.

  FACTS!!!! I always have extra and new in package that they can purchase. Turn Frustration into $, at least it makes it easier to teach acts what is acceptable prep for a show. Unfortunately most people don't learn lessons without some cost involved. The interaction then becomes a "Teachable Moment" for the unprepared . Seems that's something we have in common.

  Thank you for a simple and good review! just got a used one and can´t wait to use it. I didn´t quite get the part about using it with powered speakers. Should I connect them to the speakon-outlets or the other ones? It says in the manual to only use non-powered speakers, could that be right?

  Glad you liked the video. For powered speakers DO NOT use the amp outputs on the back, that would likely start a fire. If you have powered speakers use the ST OUT on the top panel near the headphone jack.

  Hi, Dan! Really interesting points! Its hard to find videos about this speakers… Im considering get the Tourus AX 15mbt, but have some doubts about the sound quality and volume. The specs on the site of Wharfedale are very interestings but I would like to know in a “real life situation” if could be comparable (in terms of sound quality and volume) to Electro-voice, Alto, QSCs… Thanks for the video!

  In my experience the Tourus sound great for the money. My QSC speakers sound better, but you would expect considering the price differences. I am using older HPR122i speakers, but for a modern example a K12.2 is roughly 3x the price of a Tourus AX12 here in Canada. Long story short, the Tourus sounds as good and is as loud as just about anything in its price point but don't expect them to compete with speakers 2x or more. Now, the Typhon line is a different story. I sold my EV ELX112 speakers because my Typhon AX12 speakers made them irrelevant. They sound as good or better than anything I have used up until about 120db (they start getting a bit harsh in the highs around there). If I need more volume than that I lug the HPR122i's.

  I've seen these guitars at Wal Mart for $269.00. But seeming I'm no fan of Wal Mart. You won't see me buy anything there.

  I have 3 sets, one was faulty and just out of warranty. They gave me 10% off a new receiver. The others have also started to drop from time to time. It's been about 3 years now with all of them. It's not s true diversity set either. It's time for us to get a Shure QLXD set Decent for the start up and a backup.

  It would really depend on the splitter. If your speakers have an output it would likely be better to daisy chain them instead of splitting.

  Chrome is garbage for the UI interface, I suggest Opera for the amazon tablet, Im using the Amazon Fire HD10 and have never had a problem. The best thing to do with the external router is only allow 5g and to also hide your SSID, this will also stop an auditorium full of kids from trying to connect to the mixer. The internal wifi is the same for the 12,16 and 24.

  Yes, it's nice. Yes, it's portable, BUT it's too expensive -- you can buy a used controller for the same price. I was this close to buying it -- but instead I just bought a larger backpack for my DDJ-SB2.

  Does the Ui16 have the ability to do ducking(side channel) to duck music? It looks like the Ui24 does by using subgroupd but I cant find anything that says the 12 or 16 do.

  There aren't many options left. The best modern option would be something like the Releep Mixtour using Phase in HID mode or something along those lines.

  I would not recommend EQs like this for individual tracks. They are better for live use adjusting your speakers or for cutting out feedback.

  great effects processer BUT completely useless if it's not dependable and these are not! they glitch a lot and we have had three that just stopped working completely and won't even turn on!

  I've gigged with one for over a year. The major factor was the browser interface. Using ANYTHING with a browser instead of needing an app that will have minimum requirements, or dropping support in a few years is this thing's killer feature for me... I use a 12 year old iPad, which was not useful for anything until I started using it for this.
