This thing came up on marketplace for $40 CND ($30 USD or so), so I jumped on it. I am very glad I did. It's built like a tank with an all metal construction, has two mic inputs with 3 band EQ, and balanced outputs. The last DJ controller I had with all of that was a Pioneer DJ SX3. Let's be clear, the SX3 was a better controller in many (and most), ways but I amazed that modern DJ controllers are missing so many features compared to this unit.
Note I have heard that the VSM4.1 has better audio quality, but I am finding the audio on the original to be better than I expected considering how much it was brought up on release.
