Up for review is the Typhon AX12 review, a small but mighty speaker that is really hard to fault at this price point. With an IP54 rating (dust and water resistant), on top of great sound/quality and volume I feel this is a real winner.
Note I did forget to talk about the monitor ramps that these ship with (you can see it behind my shoulder ready to go). Wharfedale says these are so that they did not have to compromise on the speaker design, and given how well designed this speaker is both in terms of audio and ergonomics I can live with the plastic ramps for the few times I use these as monitors. If you need a speaker for only monitors I wouldn't recommend these anyway as they are better suited as front of house.

I really wish I picked up a Typhon AX8 but my supplier only had Tourus AX8's left. It's ok but the Typhon is a much better line.
I love Wharfedale Pro I had a Delta system with Delta 218 subs and Delta 216 mid/highs and it was excellent for the money. But Wharfedale amplifier modules aren't that reliable.

@@timothyandrews5975 Not sure, I have a pair of passive Delta 12 cabs and they sound great and if you put them on a decent amp they're pretty loud.
