Looks like he was about to pick up the other guy and do the same too, or use him as an improvised weapon or something when it got stopped

You could see Eddie was holding back when he was fighting one-on-one at the very end of the fight. He looked up at the ref before he started swinging, like he wanted to end it without hurting the guy. I saw that as a lack of the killer instinct that many fighters have (and need), so I wonder how that would affect him in a fight with someone more experience and more killer-like.

Pudzianowski vs Hall would be cool, but I wonder if Pudzianowski would actually do it. Not saying he ain’t capable of it, but he is 47. Age matters more in combat sports than strongman

Some of those events terrify me - car flip, tire flip, bar bending - all could go wrong. I really enjoyed the format of this vid, you should do more behind the scenes stuff in the future if the opportunity presents itself.

  • @Vampire__Squid

Bar bending was very popular in the late 70s/early 80s, when most strongman had like a 680 lb deadlift.

I love listening to you guys. Your banter is fun to listen to, as many You Tubers think the world revolves around what they say. Greg Doucette is actually right. Do you want to take advice from a trainer who finished last in a bodybuilding/bikini contest? WHY? Why wouldn't you listen to the person or seek out the person who finished first? You think anyone took advice from Japan or Germany after WW2. NOPE! I know all the haters will say those countries have bounced back but are you going to take advice from Japan on Nuclear safety (Fukushima) or German on Deisel cars? Again NOPE! The new thing is to complain to try and get more followers. Try and get to a 1-4% body fat as a way of life and I guarantee you the next series of videos will be asking for money for your kidney transplant or liver replacement.

WSMi is about grit and determination and every contender is carrying an injury, obviously it makes a difference but they are tough men and that's what it's about, no excuses just pure her Herculean gene. I think Tom very much like Thor is what I have in my mind when in envision strong man WSN needs to be a live stream as people would watch it. I know there are long waiting times between lifts and also events. This could be filled with archives, the overs 50"s masters and the lower weight classes. I think Brian has the right idea and format and I think WSN needs to be mindful of what happened in the " IFSA" Days, we don't want a division in our sport. I know we could fill the 02 arena and within a couple of years Wembley or a football club in the UK. The prize money sucks and it comes down to selling merchandise and strength couching the up and commers. The 3 most alpha sport recommission is the fastest man on earth, the Heavyweight UNIFIED champion and the biggest and most importantly the strongest man on earth. I love worlds but the stone off has to go, why not just have the top 2 of each group or maybe a medley of farmers, iinto, yolk then keg toss for height. I don't want to see strongman turn into cross fit or on the other side too heavy. A one day event is fine for Max so if it's over a few days it needs to be as not heavy but I don't want it to be the fastest strongman on earth. I honestly think Brian will take over as he actually wants the sport to grow and politics will not be used as previously mentioned. I know big z and Mariaz has a slightly better record but Brian for me is what strongman is about and I just loved watching him over the years, I will miss watching him compete but I wasn't bothered when Mariaz, Thor or big z retired but I really do miss watching him

The sport of Strongman is for sure evolving rapidly these years. Back in the late 1880es, 1890es an early 1900es, strong men being showmen at fairs and theathres, then more or less disappeared for a long time, and then reappearing in the 1980es and 1990es as a slightly more organized version of the vaudeville, but still not standardized in any way. And now, with somewhat standardized equipment and rules. Gyms, where athletes can train, coaches, price money in competitions...... all the shananigans that come with "real", recognised sports. Now it makes sense for the athletes to see themselves as athletes, train like athletes of other sports, utilizing every bit of knowledge they can - from their coaches' experience to hard science, from other related/similar sports and everywhere else, you might find that 1 % edge over the others. Super relevant and interesting video. Your channel and Big Loz Official complement each other well. Keep up the good work 👍☀️☀️👍👍
