Gross moonlighted as a boxer. He was actually a professional hitman by day. He was probably the most evil person that Tyson ever encountered in the ring and was a very dangerous boxer too. However, Tyson stayed focused under fire and put Gross away with an awesome display of counter punching.I personally think this fight proved that Tyson was basically unbeatable when fully focused and he did get to 37-0 before running into Buster Douglas, who, to be honest, was just a one fight wonder.

It has also been 40 years. He was called Kid Dynamite back then. His defense was really good. Mike will find a solution to compensate for today's deficits. If necessary, he just has to rely on his defense and a hard chin again and nobody has anything against a little Sonny Liston :-) Some of the comments give me the impression that just Sonny Liston would probably be enough for them. But that would be a shame, Tyson was much better trained in Catskill. In his natural character he is also not as dark as Sonny. He also seems to be mentally strong and we will see more of the natural Mike Tyson.

this guy was scared to death, taylor-made for tyson. Tyson was done being the baddest man on the planet by this time, he was getting hit a lot more, he was missing punches, and he was only throwing 1 punch at a time, which would work against guys scared to death. I think Foreman would have KO'd Mike on this same night if they had fought, and I know Holyfield would have taken it to his ass. Buster was a one hit wonder, and working off emotion from his mother's death, and its very commendable, but he never fought like that again in his life.

I felt like the guy took a dive to avoid getting killed. That punch didn't even hit him hard I call a dive but I don't blame him I would have pretended I was hurt and can't continue after receiving a tyson jab
