My dream 😂😂🎉❤
The girl or the highbanker
IM FROM MAURITUS ..AND THIS IS MY DREAM ❤😢😢😂
Keep the dream alive
I’m not so sure about the results Vic. No medium for abrasion wears the faces of the coins down. Adding abrasives like sand would surely just accelerate the degradation of the coins. Maybe something small and not as harsh as sand, like rubber or plastic beads with some very fine abrasive like toothpaste or even pipe clay? Run for a few hours and check progress? Maybe you can avoid the damage some other way by filling the void with more coins or a few squash balls? I don’t know, just thinking out loud and voicing my thoughts. Definitely an interesting upload from your regular content. Cheers mate 🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺 Edit: those gel blaster balls with a few spoonfuls of toothpaste would be worth a shot 🤷♂️
If the coin were worth lots of money, then you would never use a Tumbler. It's more to clean them up a bit. But you are right. Need something softer like plastic beads.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures yeah, you’d have to have rocks in your head to put coins of any value in a tumbler. I think a sonic cleaner would be your only approach for that. Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t cleaning of rare coins depreciate their value anyway? If you’re just looking to tidy up “worthless” coins to display or similar, then I think the tumbler option could be useful with a slightly different approach. Cheers 🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺
@Aaron_Hanson Yes, it is best to even clean rare coins
try some borax on the ones youv done ? tumble 24hr
@@phillwatts5385 I'll give it a go.
True facts, it's more productive looking for amazing specimens of common quartz crystals or jade than panning for gold 😂
Some places have some nice crystals & gems. The real good places are 3 to 4 hours away from me.
Maybe add a bit of sand for a better result! Have a great day my friend!
@AMProspecting I think that the marking on the coins gets removed too quickly.
they came up good , but i'm thinking the same as Mo , some very fine play sand would bring them up a treat.
@AuProspecting-Scotland The only thing I've found is that you will start taking the pattern of the coin.

@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures I was just testing the theory. I wish for good health, good times and heavy pans in tiny creeks
Very cool they look good I have to get a tumbler those things do amazing work
@@mandybrown7758 There's no real value in the coins. So the Tumble does a great job cleaning them up.
Maybe you need to add some sort of sand as well
@@MohammedNovalija possible plastic beads.
Lol
Nice hole, if only they were all like that. 😂

Good morning from Florida. Murray I'm quite concerned about a mutual friend of ours. If you talk with him could you pass the message along for me. My husband Robert and I, Kimberly are concerned. I'm giving you my name, we have spoken in the past. Thank you
www.youtube.com/@kimcritchley8231
@kimcritchley8231 I will be getting in touch soon, hopefully. Don't know if he's changed his number, but will definitely try to get in contact with him by the end of the week.
Lol. The se are getting better
When you getting your phone back
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures I dunno mate. I powered it up today and it worked for 15 minutes then screen went sunburst orange. Will probably be a few weeks if I can't get the issue sorted on my trip.
@frenchys_prospecting OK, I got a new toy. You'll have to wait. Lol
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures oooh. Sounds funky
was this guy on SpongeBob?
I was thinking of making a tape promoting the FundRaiser , but after last times effort , might be better not
You can always make a tape. Just don't offend anyone.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures It just wouldn't be one of my tapes If I didn't offend at least someone. I'll see how I feel on Monday and if I get out , I'll make a separate tape just for the FundRaiser and just for people who get offended.
This breaks my heart. Cant lose the watery eyes easily
Anyone with kids will be Like that.
Heartbreaking Victor , thank you so much for sharing this with us , i've reached out to a couple of mates over there , best of luck with the event , i hope it goes great.
Thanks much appreciated.
Love my job. Every day get to see the power of these little ones and the love on their families.Your vid is very personally important to me Vic and will serve as a reminder. Look forward to the big day
Those pictures only tell a very small part of what my daughter went through. There is so much to add. She was only 6 years old when diagnosed.
@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures makes it hard to see justice in the world. She has a strong dad by her side. One day she can play dress up with all the gold jewellery her dad created for her
Great video sharing!
Thanks. Lots of information about the day in the description
Will be a great day and great cause
Hope you can get out there.

Nice work Victor, great video and thanks for sharing your journey. I'll be heading down mate and I'll put out a video prior too. I'll make up a multi sluice for the raffle and bring that down. See you then. Cheers Pete
Thanks very much, Peter. 👍
Thanks Victor, I’ll be there with bells on.
Thanks mate, thanks for your donation, too.
I will be getting some stickers made up for the day to be able to sell to anyone that comes. These will be donated but if you could give me a very rough estimate on the numbers that would be good. As you know I work at the RCH doing maintenance and I've witnessed first hand the work they do there and had me nephew go through something similar to your little one and couldn't think of a better place to support. I'll be there on the day as well. Might bring the banjo for a drive too. Cheers mate and speak soon. Also, my phone is broken but my WhatsApp is the same number if you have it.
I don't know about numbers, it is really hard to say.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures I'll make an educated guess then. Lol
family is first mate stay safe
Most definitely
Hi Victor, I know the terrible time your daughter went through, our family has been there. I will try my best to come to your fund raising day. Hope to see you then. Regards Shayne.
Much appreciated
If this can't get you to come and support a hugely important and life-changing cause nothing will, Thank you Victor and your Daughter for sharing. I will be there rain, hail or shine
Thanks Andrew
It is a great cause Victor, the RCH is a fantastic hospital. It has helped so many. I hope your daughter is well and thriving now. I hope the weekend goes well, I am sure it will. I will be interstate at the time. 😢 but I will be there in spirit. Good luck. Regards Andy PPA
Thanks Andy, hopefully it will be a good turn out.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures I know it will be good, especially when you organised the rain to come before the meet up! Cheers
Nice modification to the highbanker and nice gold brother.
Thanks. It really opens up the hopper lots.
the yabby pump comment to dig deeper.... yeah nah mate
Try it out. Sucking the clay in between the larger rock helps you dig deep. There was no way I was going to get the shovel any further with it. Unless I used a big crowbar.
That hopper mod will help break everything up alot better I'd imagine and spray bar is now out of your way. Top mod vic. Cheers for sharing Luke
Definitely opens the feed area. Will do some more testing to get the best spaybar.
Nice set up, and liked your modifications. Well done on the gold and you got my vote 👍🥂
I will try it with different spaybar combinations, but it definitely seems to be a step in the right direction.
I agree with the fact that the position of the spray bar was too far forward. Your placement looks much better and now you have room to dump the shovel in without having to stand in the perfect position and having the perfect angle for feeding.
I personally would love to see Gold Rat make the long hopper like the 12 inch highbanker option for the 8 inch.
That could be a normal first pan on a great creek! Thats prospecting 101. When is the next Slaty meet up VIC?
27th July 9am to 2pm CreswickRegionalPark camp ground 1 . I should have a new video about the day this week.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures I’ll make a bucket classifier for your raffle
@@piratescrew1869 That will be much appreciated, thank you
Hi Victor, I really enjoy your video's, they are far from boring. Especially to newby's like me. I like to see as much as possible to learn. I don't get out a lot, but when I do, I like to try as much as I have learnt from people like you. Regards Shayne.
The most important thing is to have fun & enjoy the day. The gold will come.
just remember, loop back on itself weakens the rope and is on;y 80% of total potentian of the rope. so in several factors, a big no no for winching, it also damages trees.
I could get to my other gear. Because half the car was under water.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures rethink your recovery gear starage then. it's one of the poorest excuses for not doing things properly I've heard in a while.
@@overlandready sorry I can't be perfect like yourself
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures Well, that just proves you're unwilling to learn, so hang up your 4x4 keys and go get a Prius. What I have jsut told you is actually basic recovery knowledge, if you can#t be bothered to improve, then don't do the thing in the first place. Simple facts here, you may have got out, but there are much better ways of doing it, one day, that shortcut might be the rope through your screen or someone's arm, the plan is educaton, do better and show you are actually learning. Putting a tree strop somewhere accessible inn the vehicle is not difficult, it can also be a life saver. Go talk to anyone in the 4x4 recovery world and they will mirror what I've told you. Obviously, if you don't take the advice, then you are proving you are a bit of an idiot and don't care about yourself or the environment you are using. Go discuss it with the pro's and then tell me I'm wrong and a perfectionist, I'm not, I'm just giving you free advice.
I know what made you Giggle Clue - Pump it out 8400 gph
It was the name of the park.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures Oh - Nice Clue. Now I just have to go ask my friend to tell me the spot lol. You actually got more gold there in one pan than I got yesterday ALL DAY.
that is a strange deposit sitting there , confused me as to how they worked it and with what , that piece of Quartz looked interesting and vuggy , i would have taken a test pan from top/middle and especially the bottom of those mounds , you found a few specs at the top, i'm thinking if there was any flood gold in that hole , it's now gonna be at the bottom of that pile , if you find a section close to there that's worth running the high banker, then run that material through also after a cleanup , to see what was in it if anything , thanks for sharing Victor.
I have found piles like that before, but they were out of the creek not yet run. This one will keep me guessing for a while.
nice test pan man
Thanks Peter, just took me too long to find a spot today.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures dont worry ive spent all day panning for a spot and still doubting my self on day 2 weather i set up my gear in thr correct spot ha h
TIP - Don't tell people your tape is boring. Especially the test pan tape. If people find them boring they can tell You , or they can simply push the fast forward button. I found all of your tapes today interesting.
Spent a lot of time showing test panning. But it's important to someone starting out, but to the more experienced prospector , it might be boring.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures I been playing for 8 years and still can't test pan to save My Life. NEVER Boring.
I like how you made a whole bunch of tapes today and kept them in their own little self contained topics instead of a bunch of editing and put all in one tape with much of the footage left on the cutting room floor
That way, if someone didn't want to watch everything, they could pick & choose
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures Exactly. Also , I didn't realize , but some people watch on their phone and fuck holding the phone for half an hour or more. Can always have a break between tapes.
When you pulled that bit of rubbish out i was thinking "THAT SAPPHIRE IS INCREDIBLE"
Well, you never know, definitely garnets in the creek.
That's the thing about the winch. You can do low to medium solo adventures
I should have filmed from the outside. Then you would have seen how really bad it was.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures it would have been an awesome and fun part of the video. Get loose, bro. Film it all
I would guess material was run through a trommel. But there would be a pile of half inch plus nearby. Probably run by the boys who moved on from CampGround 2 at Slaty
There's no pile of larger rocks. Unless they were working up, the creek was all screened down & then ran in a power sluice
Strange piles of dirt on creeks the mind boggles why they are there
Definitely different. I did think someone may have screened it to process later.
@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures it look that way
Yep always try new spots never know specially if it doesn’t get smashed
Not even a test hole to be seen.
I'm pretty sure I been to that spot. I found a Minelab Pan there lol - memories
