The craziest gold I've ever found in Warrandyte
#gold #prospecting #findinggold #lookingforgold #panning #meetup #nuggets #cleanup #Warrandyte
This is crazy gold for Warrandyte.
In the tradition of the way the old timer's would mine, by removing the water to get to the good ground.
The plan was to pump out the water from this water hole. we didn't really expect that we could remove all the water, but we did.
What we discovered was one of the largest deposits of gold in the area.
I always say think outside the box.
Hope this makes you think of a place where you could try this.
Until the next time, happy hunting.

I'll see when I can get around to it. Have run some & it's look great. All the ground from around the nugget. An inch off the top of the clay & decomposed bedrock
Looks so quiet and relaxing out there 😊

The funny thing is it's a suburban street in Melbourne
Man I fucking wish I had have gone away on a different weekend. Looks like it was an excellent day. Proper mining. You guys worked hard and were rewarded well.

I had an idea & wanted to try it. Really needed a Highbanker to run everything. What I will say. There's lots of gravel to run. You just have to pump for 4 hours. I sing 8400gph to do it
Wow! There is nothing like the feeling of having a spot you know has bonkers gold and knowing it potentially could be your best dig ever! I live for those places!

This place has been done to death . The key was that this water hole is never empty .

@@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures You deserve every bit you find! Nobody else had that idea before you even with how many people dug around there before you did. That's one thing that always gets me is that the gold we find has been passed by literally thousands of people through out the years and still it waited patiently till we got there! Really makes it feel special. I guess i'm reading into it too much.

@GOLD_FEVER If you read the history of Warrandyte & look at what the old-time prospectors did. You will see that the cut, though, mountains, changed the course of rivers to dry the ground to be able to work it. I just put a modern twist on it & pumped the water away. If you're prepared to spend 4 hours pumping water out of a hole. This was more to test an idea than the gold. Much richer place that have these deep holes that never dry up.
Nice job puming! I too have pumped out a huge plunge pool, then had to pull boulders, rocks, wood , leaf litter, and logs out before trying to process the gluggy clay at the bottom. Lucky I have a trommel! Get that good stuff! Looking forward to part 2

There's so much to dig out it would take an army to do it all.

The problem with that solution is that you have to share the spoils! Take your time before the next big rain! Good luck
