Great, colour and for the area keep at it, I go around gold memorial road panning live about 30 mins out SE just came back from Eldorado on weekend wish I could of stayed more. Love to come to one of the meet ups with everyone and have some fun. Cheers🍻👍 George

There is a little bit around Warrandyte. The other 2 creeks that are part of the Warrandyte state park are better than Anderson Creek. Plus, Panton Hill has even better gold . But all these places are hit & miss. I'll try putting a meet- up together in the near future.

Nice going, it is always good to find unexpected spots close to home that give a good show of colour well done mate 👍

Thanks 👍 Like every creek in Melbourne, they are hit & miss. There are definitely some other spots in that creek that should hold some colour. I'm sure there would be some aymt the bottom of that water.

I'm not sure, but there are so many shafts along the creek that it's crazy.

Warrandyte State Park. I did go past on Saturday & that particular spot has been smashed & left in a bit of a mess.

Thank you! Cheers! It is not everywhere, but when you find a little spot, the gold is surprisingly chunky.

Its an interesting feature that bedrock channel. I wonder if it was carved out in the gold rush or its just natural? Also, nice colour. Its fascinating that theres gold still in the suburban creeks here.

I'm not sure . But there are 30 or so shafts all along the creek. 20 meters up the creek, there are crevices in a wide section that are ready to be cleaned out. Hard packed. 30 meters down the creek 90° bend. I want to pump the water out to get to the really good stuff.

1 is the Bulldog Creek gold digging. 2 Tubbarubba Creek gold diggings. I'm not sure if there's gold there. But it's definitely worth a look.

Unfortunately, the spots at Warrandyte are panning only. Not too far away is Panton Hill. There's a few spots out that way that have some nice gold & you can run a Highbanker . I was only at this spot for a few hours panning. Can catch up at some stage. I'll see about trying to organise some type of meet-up soon. I'll put up a video about the day. I did one not that long ago in the area.
