I just came here for the thumbnail , putting a cross on a player everyone loved and respected, just because in the next era someone else is rising up, is a way of normalizing being disloyal with goldfish memory , if you want to be an animal go ahead but not everyone likes it that way , a normal person sees your thumnail and says fck off, and i came here to tell you that , okay goodbye.

Palmer has been outstanding this season but the English media needs to shut up about it. Stop adding pressure on him. It's just been one season. But the English media talks of him like he's a legend already. Stop putting pressure on the kid, let him play.

I’ve seen a couple of videos now of Chelsea on here where the True Geordie sound bites are used at the very start of the video along with pundits. Since when did he become so relevant in this context, that his opinion on football means something

Tall, dribble, goal, good at penalties, good at passing, good at controlling the game, and even doing that in a team with miserable partners! Unique style that we haven't seen lately. Cole Palmer is taking the premier league by storm and his debut season at Chelsea is absolutely unheard of. We have a team who has spent over a billion dollars on players in the last 18 months and they signed a guy who was a benchwarmer at Manchester City the guy couldn’t even get a game there and now he is their main man and has carried the team on his shoulders single-handedly. He made a brave decision in leaving Manchester City last summer. In football there’s an importance of winning trophies and at Manchester City you’re guaranteed silverware, but he felt like his lack of playing time wasn’t helping his development. Chelsea are a dysfunctional team and haven’t had a consistent attacker since Eden Hazard, he took a big gamble in going there and at the time his 40 million price tag was an overpay. What he’s done at Chelsea this season, he has shocked the footballing world. 27 goals and 14 assists 41 G/A in all competitions, 22 goals and 10 assists in the premier league he’s 2nd in goals despite not even being a striker and at one point was in the race for the Golden Boot. What makes his season very impressive is that the guy is 22 years old and he’s producing this while playing on a much weaker team. He has carried Chelsea time and time again and right now they’re in 6th place and they’re probably gonna get European football for next season, imagine where they would be without Palmer. He’s a big reason for why they’ve scored more goals than last season. There have been critics they’ve downplayed his performances due to the amount of penalties he’s scored calling him a “penalty merchant”, say that this is a “purple patch” and think that his performances is down to the fact that he played on Manchester City learning from Pep Guardiola and all of their technical players. A goal is a goal and if a penalty is so easy then anyone who takes a penalty won’t miss. For months I’ve been wondering how long he can sustain his form, but the guy just keeps getting better. It’s great that he did learn a thing or 2 at Manchester City, but if his form was down to being on that team, he would be playing more had he still been at City right. He’s been so good to the point where a lot of people think that Manchester City made the wrong decision in selling him last summer when the reality is that he leaving was a good move for both parties. If he didn’t leave City, I don’t think he would’ve even been considered for the England squad at the EUROs because he’s been able to break into the national team since he’s playing week in week out at Chelsea and is playing very well. He’s not just responsible for scoring goals, his role as a creator playmaker, he creates plays for himself and his teammates. He has to make the Team of the Year in the premier league and win PFA Player of the Year award, with the numbers that he’s putting up in any other year if Chelsea was in the title race in the premier league or playing in the champions league, he would be seen as a genuine contender for the Ballon Dor that’s how good he’s been. He has been Chelsea’s savior and let’s hope that this season wasn’t a fluke for him because after one good season, we have to see Palmer at this level for the years to come as next season there’s gonna be expectation for him to sustain his form and prove that he’s not a “one season wonder”. Imagine Cole Palmer in this form still playing for Manchester City and attack of him Erling Haaland Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne behind them would be dangerous.

Haaland is world class. Dont matter what these football media football experts say lol. They are going down on Haaland because Haaland is the best striker in the world right now. It is just that Pep dont allow his players express themselves. They are limited to their roles(dictated by Pep) and positions. We have seen what haaland was doing in salzburg, dortmond and norway. Everybody is interested and will want to listen about haaland. Fans are smart... But thats how football media makes money, create clout, clout chasers, create controversial topics and discussions. They are so annying. No wonder they are losing viewers to KZread content creators

People who play in goal arn’t always brilliant outfield player either. He’s good in his position. This all came in with Mourinho publicly criticising Joe Cole at Chelsea and that he didn’t defend but he was not that type of player and instead proceeded to coach all of the flair out of his game.

To say he's just 'not respected' (as the football player he is), imo is incorrect and is a claim only likely to made by fans of where he's currently at.. in this case Manchester City.. I'm pretty sure no-one who knows anything at all about the level of football he's playing at is saying he's not a good enough striker or whatever.. Haaland is clearly an OUTSTANDING goalscorer.. but that also doesn't mean we've all got to automatically bow and ignore the things we believe that he DOESN'T do so greatly on the pitch (we'll leave that to the City fans, lol)...⚽ 🤷‍♂️
