When he said it’s not just about goals and assists when evaluating the best player in the world I was like “thank you”, tired of people that only look at just goals and assists when reflecting on the impact they have on their team and as important as stats are combine it with what you see off the eye test. His videos never miss at all and he has more knowledge about football than pundits and that’s crazy he should be on like Sky Sports for real he would definitely be an excellent footballing pundit since he makes a lot of great and creative content.

He’ll win plenty of Ballon dors in his career and he’s 23 and is still learning and can get even better not to mention that he’s not even at his peak yet and he’s been scoring goals at a ridiculous rate as of now Messi will win the Ballon dor and Haaland will narrowly miss out due to his performances in these big games and yes his goals fired them to the treble but didn’t show up for Manchester City when it mattered the most.

Haaland’s job is to score goals and there’s no issue with that because he’s so prolific and he’s clinical and gets in the right place at the right time in the box, other than that he doesn’t touch the ball very much and his impact on the pitch is minimal and he’ll never reach the heights Messi and Ronaldo reached when I look at players like Ronaldo Neymar Mbappe Henry Ronaldinho Maradona R9 even strikers like Benzema Suarez Kane etc these guys are very good players who can rely on teammates to create for them but produce a moment of individual brilliance on the ball and Haaland is not that player when he’s not scoring hence why it’s difficult for a striker to be seen as the best player in the world.

I like messi. And i had been saying that the world is a flick of a coin between messi and haaland. But when people glorify messis world cup i just have to ask. How did messi win the balon dor in 2010. Lets start with sneider, yes his g+a were not comparable to messi at all, but in the champions league 3 goals and 6 assist. The only 2 games inter lost in the champions league that hear was against barca when sneijder wasnt playing or was subbed off. And messi had not contributions in that game. He also had games where he made the difference. Inter would have been out if not for a goal and a assist by sneijder in the 2 leg. Barca might have knocked inter out if nit for sneijders goal and assist in the first leg. Now lets talk abt the world cup. 5 goals and a assist compared to messis only assist against mexico. Brazil would have knocked out netherlands if not for 2 goals by sneijder. If not for a goal against slovokia or uruguay Netherlands would have to go to penalty. Sneijder in 2010 was super influential in both the champions league and world cup then how didnt he win the balon dor and messi won it. Was it bcz messi had a high g+a.
