Enhancement currently already has too many buttons, now with the new pathings spirit walkers grace, stone bulwark, wind totem and crash lightning are added to the bloat just by speccing into either elementalist or storm build.
I partially disagree with the whole "hide your action bars and put this gigantic weakaura package on your screen instead." You can macro over your spammable abilities with a simple #showtooltip [insert cooldown here] /cast flash of light. That way your bars are only populated with relevant information and there would then be 0 reason to hide any action bar.
Switch off Combat Text and install Eavesdrop, thereby getting the best of both worlds ...

Been thinking it might be time to start doing some pre-prep as far as UI tuning, and you've got some excellent suggestions here.

It's how the damage numbers are displayed. I use an addon that just scrolls my damage/healing done in a set location rather than over the targets head.

There is no identity to them. there are 11 talents and on average only 2 or 3 have an actual option per spec so they may as well be baked into the hero talent tree of choice with only having the 2 or 3 actual choices visible. I don't understand how people aren't in an uproar over such shit design. I legitimately don't see a single positive change to the game that is enticing me to come back to play.
how do these people who make so much GD money do so little over the course of several years for a game???? Effectively they have no answers for the questions towards problems that have been plaguing the game for the past 6 years. The changes they are looking to implement don't make a whole lot of sense. And the changes they did make are doggy doo doo! got it...... Do they not realize they have, probably at this point, a million+ people's backlash for how poorly they've done?

these numbers mean nothing. If you too high you'll get nerfed if you are too low you have a high chance of getting buffed if you are on Blizzards spec of the tier you will be buffed to be on top. Wait until the raid comes out and lets just focus on items that are busted in talents or rotation or spells.
So ancestors are bugged rn they should be getting a bit more dam however ele blast is also bugged in that the 60% ele blasts proccing off icefury are going at full effect. Icefury is also bugged but idk if thats a net positive for frost shocks dam or negative or if its neutral. Fun enough lava burst should still be doing more dam than ele blast, same class worse feeling imo.

they were literally over performing in Beta in Raid test and doing Super well in Mythic+. The nerfs were warranted. I bet you Arcane mage will get nerfed as well. Remember these numbers dont matter that much right now since its still beta and we are still about 2 months away from Season 1 of TWW. lots will change by then

It’s so nice playing rogue because at least one spec is always viable AND if I know Blizzard then they are going to fix outlaw rogues to be a much better performer. Mage is the main character of wow but rogue is a close second
Wish you would also split into the subspeccs.... Class X isnt only class x anymore, it can do better or worse in its subspeccs,

I was hyped for TWW but now when I saw videos of people playing "new" elemental I completely lost the will and hope to even play the game. Its just same rotation over and over and I am bored of it and I think LB spam is just plain stupid. Also time is running out and there is plenty of classes and specs doing terribly so there will not be any more changes to ele. Maybe I will come back to game if it get positive feedback after release but definitively not as shaman.

As a warlock main i hope they buff Soul harvester for Aff to make it more competitive compared to Hellcaller. But we still have plenty more weeks of tuning to go till release

I hope so too, for both. Altho blizz usually nerfs the good one other than buffing the lesser one. Let's hope they do the right thing
You realize a ton of the specs are massively bugged still and either doing a lot less or way more then they should. Elemental frost shock empowered is massively doing more dmg for example and Demo 4 piece is not working as well a few talents that are taking a good bit of dmg from it. This list means less then nothing

please stop saying enhancement shamans got a rework they werent even touched.
Looking at this, the biggest change for Elemental between live and beta is how much the finisher, Elemental Blast (and presumably Earth Shock). And that's at least a step in the right direction because it indicates that maelstrom matters. This is also hard to examine because there's two major "sub specs" where there is a Lightning and Magma build. Magma/Fire builds are supported by the Farseer Hero Talents so if you're looking at the logs of a Magma build, Lava Burst is the point. You'd have to find a log that used the other spec Stormbringer and is Lightning Build to see if Lightning Bolt will make up more of the damage profile.
It's trash right now even after changes. Everyone is just playing farseer

Blizzard has more than just classes/specs to balance this time around. Now they also have hero talents. I suspect that once they are done with raid/dungeon tunning we will start to see specs get shuffled around.

@@Naturalhigh8 I wasn't under the impression that the hero talent trees would have in-depth choices but that selecting a hero talent tree would be the only "choice." Moreover, they appear to really just be a way to zero in on a theme/playstyle (depending on spec). Afflock can focus on more DoT dmg or burst Direct dmg ect. I was just stating that none of them are balanced against each option per spec, and I suspect it'll take Blizzard a lot longer to balance those.
As someone who’s played arcane religiously for years, don’t worry. It’ll get nerfed into the ground by launch

Damage numbers aren’t relevant atm. Anything underperforming will be tuned properly soon enough.

I tried Rogue on the beta and the class is a joke xD. Outlaw is punching with toothpicks and the only spec doing something is Assassination
