So why are simpler rotations always bad? Does every spec need to require twitchy fingers and be mega-complicated?

Cause pressing 1-2-1-2-3 over and over is boring and allows bad players to have their performance inflated, thus making everyone else's experience worse. That and it's not fun to play

I mean BM was a top 3 dps for like all of season 3 and it’s probably the simplest dps rotation so I think certain classes just have their moment to shine every couple of seasons

As others have pointed out, but it bears repeating, Fury was not buffed, it was nerfed.

Fury is nerf not buff you missed the point , fury was op on m+ last build they nerfed odyns fury and bloodthirst variants. Probably its a huge nerf considering how well it synced with slayer maybe even rip slayer

Fury did not get buffed. Fury got a RB and rampage buff as a compensation for the nerfs to bloodthirst and odyn's fury, which were warranted considering that they were doing absurd damage on the beta. Notably, bloodthirst actually got triple nerfed. It's damage was nerfed, a talent got nerfed, and a bug was fixed on that same talent that was causing it to do more damage than intended. The nerfs to bloodthirst add up to being very heavy handed, possibly too heavy handed, as the developers attempt to reel back the countless number of bloodthirst buffs they've given over the course of dragon flight in an effort to get fury to have a reason to incorporate bloodthirst into the rotation alongside raging blow. We'll see just how impactful these nerfs are on our overall damage, as the compensation buffs seem rather soft by comparison.

Balance Druid needs a serious reqork. The eclipse system just sucks, there's no other way to put it. Having to do two casts to get into that and you need to multi-dot before you even get to your fillers is a chore. Even single target its two fillers and two to 3 dots before you even cast a spender, and you will be refreshing those forever. I'd like them to drop ecplise all together... just make it our big cooldown but give us our mastery without it. It's ot that we can't maintain those, its that they are boring and tedious. Instead give us something to proc and respond to, something exciting especially with the loss of Pulsar. At thsi point I am switching to mage if things don't change ... and I have almost 20 years of crit chicken under my belt.

Shadow invocation has been a staple in AoE for 2 seasons now. def not an ignored talent.

Arcane wasn't nerfed really (like Izen said), the talent shuffle made things more accessible and missiles dmg went up by a lot (not only the 20% increase but buff and bug fix on the attunement)

I literally logged off my arcane when i read this yesterday. always catering pve and spitting on pvp players.

As a main warlock demo player I say that shadow evocation is working as intended with soul harvester

Both San’layn and Rider have game breaking bugs for example SL giving 147% haste and riders not casting abilities correctly. The tuning should not have occurred for DK until these bugs had been fixed to get a true indication of what the spec is doing!

San’layn is completely ruined for blood. Silly choice. Deathbringer was already way better for blood. The healing nerf on vamp strike just… weird.

Implosion Trap has a toolkit that states it exploes. That's simply contradicting!

Arcane was nerfed in numbers yes but the talent tree changes definitely compensate. In terms of DPS it will probably be the best mage spec in season 1. It will be the raid spec, I don’t know if it will compete with fire in m+ because it lacks the cheat :(

You rogues just can't get enough can you? At least one spec of rogue has been on the meta for the last 4 years while many other classes weren't for even 1 season. I think it's time for the rogue class to go down for a while

Fuck i hate Breath of Sindragosa with burning passion. I would love to play FDK if not for the fact it will be top talent to pick for first season.

@@schmooplesthesecond5997 Long build up, you need all your CDs when breath is up, 2 min CD, and if you fail at something or you need to deal with mechanic you lose whole breath coz you can't pause it or anything. There is too much to deal with for not that much more dps compared to Obliteration build.

Dude, what are you smoking, removing Crackling energy, chronoshift is good? crackling energy was giving y 20% increased damage for blast, additionally they are nerfing it further by 10 %, minus 30% is good thing for ya? Chronoshift may seems boring for PvE but its absolutely mandatory for PvP, mage def is made from cardboard, need to avoid damage as its essential, its killing nerf dude..... arcane was finally fun to play so Blizz thought: ok, y guys had your fan, time to kill spec.....

Oh I'm pissed at blizzard you can say that again. As a Ret, ALL of our utility you can get from Prot and Holy, but they also can bring Spellwarding or Aura Mastery. Looking at the raid on the video, what a surprise, the only paladin in the group is Holy. wow, great work there blizzard. I would say oh our damage is great, but it never really is, because once other dps classes come online, we are back to middle of the pack in over all. And even our tankiness are practically one more nerf from being back to Pre-rework. If I even stay with Retribution, I'll run devo for my guild, but pugs all your getting is crusader aura, and you'll like it.

@@lullaonyx6427 Why should I play specs that I don't enjoy? I prot paladin for years in TBC and beginning of Wrath. But once I was able to move to Ret, where I wanted to be all along. I haven't looked back. And Holy, when I did play it, it was during the time when Melee Holy was king. They are trying as it seems to send it back to caster, and that isn't paladin in my book. That is Cleric and Priest.

Ele is absolute trash for pvp now. I hate it.
