Jewelcrafting in War Within is in an interesting spot, and has done what I thought impossible: It made me not dislike the 3+ tiers of reagent quality for each material. They've made the smart choice to not have every single reagent have quality levels, and by doing so, make the quality levels that DO exist much more impactful. Why have 30 quality/tier combinations of gemstones when you can funnel them all into the literal grindstone and make Gemdust quality matter instead?
Who knows if Jewelcrafters will be the kings of early Embellishments again, but they continue their stranglehold of justifying their own exist by not only providing us with stat gems, but also items that let us put more gem sockets in our gear. Jokes aside, War Within is still shaping up to be World of Warcraft's best expansion ever, in my book. Let me know what you think in the comments!
