Also wanted to make a quick note before any doomer comments: Will be making multiple of these covering Professions on the TWW Alpha! And no, not quitting SoD or Cataclysm, in fact I focus on those two but wanted to cover some TWW Alpha content aswell :D Will be playing TWW & Making guides for this expansion aswell, as I play every version of WoW & enjoy them all ^^

Yo what would you suggest for a healer profession

You really need to take a look at what's happening on Penance. We are now down under 1000 players and dropping fast. We have no AH and getting a group for a dungeon is just impossible. They wont allow any transfers so we are stuck on a dead realm, no one wants to just abandon characters with hundreds of hours of grinding on them but we are left little other option.

What would happen if we simply got rid of rank items and just had the item? Why force us to make crap items that no one really wants?

Awesome.. All I'm seeing here is that if you don't no-life the game professions are not for you still... If there is still no catch up mechanics it's still a shit system... It looks like it's "Fall behind, Get left behind" again... Joy, old professions you just caught up by throwing money at it, this is still looking time gated and non recoverable.. what a fk shame. Concentration is going to create such a gold increase for crafters "You'll need to give me 1000g per Concentration point", what a load of shit.. Druids should still have to purchase that gathering upgrade, that's just not fair at all, there is nothing fair about it, why do they still get gathering mounted for free, it's a bird it doesn't have hands..

In your analysis of each profession, please layout the actual process maps to make a top ranked item, then do a process map of the profession prior to Dragonflight… the new system is just a hazing process of unnecessary steps… the final outcome is professions have become too complicated, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY TOO TIME CONSUMING, for PVE players, dungeon players, raiders and PVPers to participate in and still play their game while balancing their game time with work, school, and family… all leading to the massive increase in the purchase of WoW tokens, making this game a pay to play scheme and the main reason youth players aren’t subbing
