  So if I can use a jumper wire on the starter relay and it works, but the I replace the starter and relay and it still won’t start what could it be? The jumper wire works everytime

  my alternator bracket broke and i have the part on the way but i connected it directly i put a little supe glue on the just so it wouldnt move not mess with the prongs, ive got the warning light brake and battery. i checked the fuses the connection im hoping once i fix the bracket the warning light will go.

  2012 Toyota Tundra...runs fine, temperature has always been fine...but this weekend on highway road trip, notice temperatures rising on "up hills", like a bit more load on the engine. Did not do it all the time, but did it several times on a 400 mile trip. It never overheated, seemed to drop back down after leveling out. This has never done this before. Its not the cap, as I changed it several months ago. Any thoughts....its really bugging me.

  This code is on my vehicle. What if the engine starts idling funny and revving up 1000-1500 (extra) rpms than you're already going ? Lasts only seconds, sometimes doesn't do it for ages, then doing it over and over again. Help ! Driveable or no ?

  I have an issue with a Chevy Cruz like this I can reverse at full speed, but when I go into gear, it starts slow. I’ve actually moved the car because I had to move and I didn’t wanna pay a towing service and I drove it 6 miles with a friend in front and a friend and back and once I got up to speed about second third, it was all right. I didn’t try to push it anymore than 48 miles an hour, but all in all I’m just trying to figure out what direction to go with this because I’ve replaced coil packs. I’ve actually replaced the engine catalytic converter radiator almost everything on a car so I’m just kind of lost.

  Whenever it rains, my car warns me about icy conditions and thinks it's negative 45 degrees outside and blasts heat. When the rain stops and everything dries up, it goes back to normal.

  Hi im having this code on a 2016 crv with 35k miles, a glashing d light i have. Ive replaced speed sensor, oil pressure sensor. Still have thia cose and check engine light. Transmission is shifting fine.i see a litle leak every time i park. I think i overfilled i dont have dipstick.

  If the engine does not turnover, check the battery and battery terminals.

  Yes, it is the FTP sensor. The A can be a number of things. The scan tool data may be off, there may be more than one sensor, and sometimes, manufacturers add letters for future use. The vehicle manufacturer information for the code would have the details.

  Getting started on an 18k at the moment. Wall plate is slightly different than the older model but not in overall size. Glad I decided to take the tape measure to it and check the layout for fastening. If it's hung on a stud in the center that will be the only stud it will attach to. And go figure, the 2 1/2" access hole will leave you drilling through the stud at right of center. The mounting holes to get over two studs is kinda wonky but it can be done and without cutting a stud in half with the hole saw.

  Usually, no, but if the purge valve is stuck open, it can cause some engines to run badly, usually when first starting.

  Nice video! I have codes p0302 and p0202. I have swapped the spark plugs and coils, it’s still running rough and engine light is still on with same codes! The intake is a mother to pull off! Any ideas?…

  The P0202 code is “Cylinder 2 Injector Circuit/Open,”. I would check and test the wiring going to the Cylinder 2 coil.

  Hi bro i have same issue after scan I received a p0507 code , do i have to replace the throttle body or something else, because i used of cleaner inside the throttle body but nothing got changed… can you please recommend??

  It will need to be troubleshooted to find the issue. The basic things to do are to clean the throttle body, check for a vacuum leak, and check the PCV valve.

  Mine nearly (I never let it get to red zone) overheats according to the needle, when the ac is on after a few minutes. No issues when it's on hot. Anyone know what it could possible be? I know it's not the fans, plenty of coolant is available, no smoke from under the hood, oil looks normal, car sounds normal, no knocking, loud noises or anything. I don't believe it was an air bubble.

  It is best to watch a video as there are a lot of them for wiring a disconnect, but a disconnect is just a way to break the wire connection quickly. Basically, each leg (wire) goes to one port and the same on the other side. Some electricians tie the common (white) wires together and just break the connection with the Hot (black) wire.

  Got a 2002 Nissan Frontier replaced alternator and Battery and cleaned up Battery Terminals etc. Tested Voltage with Everything On. Ac max, Headlight high beam on etc. 14.3 voltage at idle. Lights On still.! SMH help please

  You checked all the most common causes, so the issue is likely harder to troubleshoot. The computer or the wiring may be having a problem which is more difficult. I would double check all the connections, check for any damaged wires, and be sure the fuses are all good.

  Thank you for the excellent video! this is the best most concise information I’ve received in three days of googling for an answer. My Chevy dealer has reset it twice for free however three or four days later the engine light shows up again. He told me 449 was a code for the sensor and that I could just buy one and put it on myself or they could do it. My particular 2009 Silverado had some sort of governor on it to where it’ll never let me go over 100 miles an hour. Interestingly, or coincidentally the engine light always shows up when I hit 100 miles an hour and a slight stalling sensation occurs. Not sure if this is a clue or just weirdness. What think you?

  Obviously it can be many things Check your starter sometimes they get hot and car won't start until it cools down. Could be time to change it.

  Awesome explanation, thanks for sharing! Before I start throwing parts at the issue I have with my 2007 4Runner I wanted to see if you have any suggestions or thoughts as to what I'm currently experiencing...sometimes if I sit idle for 15 mins. or so the fuel gauge will drop 1/4-1/2 a tank and sometimes when I go to "fill" up the gauge does not go completely to the 'F'. Any ideas are welcomed.

  It needs to be troubleshooted, but that is usually an issue with the fuel pump level sensor located on the fuel pump or the wires going to it.
