  Sorry I am so late writing to you Professor. I have been really sick lately. I never, ever feel sick to my stomach and have Vertigo problems. Last week I thought I was going to die from getting sick to my stomach so much. The room was spinning around that I kept my eyes closed. I hate feeling like this. It is now a week later and I am not getting sick to my stomach, walking around and still once in a while feeling weird in my head. I wish it would stop. This ensemble for our Lily's is precious. I Love the fabrics and the bright yellow for Summer time. Lily looks so adorable in it. How have you been doing friend? I miss you so much. I wished we lived closer to each other. I would see you every day and play dolls with you. I put an auburn wig on my Lilly doll just to see how she looked and she looks quite cute. She came to me years ago as a bald doll. I wanted to put my own wigs on her. She has been so patient with her mommy being so sick. I can't understand how I got this bug? I am never, ever around people that much. Only to go grocery shopping and to the doctor. I guess because I have a compromised immune system, I will take time to bounce back. It is taking way too long. Tonight is 4th of July Fireworks and I probably won't be able to sleep through all the noise. Ellie doesn't seem to mind it too much like Lilly did. Ellie woofs at the boomies from inside our house and when she is outside her daddy told me that she better understands where the noise comes from. We have introduced her to several different noises like when my husband mows the lawn and uses the weed wacker. It doesn't bother her at all. We think it is important to teach them about things when they are younger. Don't you agree? Well Professor, well done this week. Another adorable ensemble to add to our collection.   Oh, please don’t be sorry about that. It’s me that feel so sorry to hear you’ve been sick. I understand that most of the blood in our body rushes down to the stomach when that part is suddenly sick and that can cause the dizziness. I sincerely hope you’ll get well soon. Poor Ellie must be missing her mommy walking beside her, as I missed you for the last few days. I’m doing fine these days, but have to deal with more work after the recovery from the injury. Will I ever be able to retire? Hope you know you don’t have to miss me at ‘cause I’m always here waiting for you. Thank you, as always.

  I have a question, if I wanted to make this dress, but open at the back, I would need two pieces for the back and one for the front, correct? I don't change anything else?

  Yes, you’re right. But, you’ll have to remove 3mm from each of the front pieces at the center front, and then connect them to get one front piece. And add 3mm to the center back of the back pieces, which you can get by cutting my back pattern into two halves. You’ll need those extras to fasten the dress at the back, right? Hope this’ll help. And try to give some extra ease to the skirt width, just in case.

  I am in amazement Professor! This is so beautiful and precious at the same time. What a gorgeous creation for our Lily Dolls. I am so happy to see and hear you giggle and love what you are doing with the Blythe Doll clothes. You make sewing for our dolls soooooooooo much fun. Do you know that? I was enjoying this tutorial so much I almost forgot to start my dinner in my Crock Pot for tonight to eat. I was so glued to the screen. More Bonnets Please and Hats too!!!!! I love your creations so very much. You never, ever cease to amaze me. How have you been doing lately? What's new? Anything? It has been so incredibly hot here in Colorado, almost 100 degrees. I can not tolerate it at all. I am a hermit inside my house till it cools off a bit. Ellie is the same way, poor little girl. Thank you so very much for this fantastic pattern and tutorial. I love peplums and lace and bonnets too. I think if you made this in a stark white the beautiful lace would not stand out so much, would it? I especially love love love the folded over lace over the bodice. That part is so adorable. It acts like a capped sleeve and a gorgeous laced bodice at the same time. The tiny pearls add elegance to this ensemble and make it over the top. You as always did a fantastic job with this one. I love it so much. Thank you so much for all you do for each one of us every other week. I wait for you with baited breath to see what new creation you co up with. See you next time! 🦌🐿🐞🦋🌲🥨♥🧵🪡✂

  Hope you didn’t miss your dinner, ha-ha. Yes, it’s starting to get hotter here as well. Nevertheless, I hate to pass a day without hanging around my garden when I’m finally free from the brace. I feel like I lost most of this spring, but no, not summer. I’m trying to avoid the hot blazing sun by going out only when it starts to get mellow near evening. Thank you so much, as always, for your detailed review. It always makes me think again what I’m almost unaware of. You know you have keen eyes that don’t miss anything.
