Happy Holidays Professor! This coming week we celebrate Thanksgiving and you know who I am grateful for? You, my friend! You have been so kind and unselfish and positive and caring and inspirational with your free tutorials and patterns for our Blythe Dolls. You are so very sweet and I love you so much. This dress is so vibrant with color it really pops. I just love the Old Fashioned sewing patterns that you have created for our dolls. I was watching an older movie yesterday called "Wimpole Street". It is about the poets Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning before they got married. I was sketching out the Victorian capelet and jacket over Elizabeth's sister Henrietta's coat for winter with a muff. Not sure how to make it into an outfit for Lilly, but I can try. It was like a gold velvet with black fur all around the edges and a black fur muff for her hands and a black fur hat. So Victorian! Jennifer Jones played Elizabeth and she was so tolerant of her dominating father. Finally at the end of the movie she sneaks away with Wilson her maid and gets married with the clothes on her back and her English Springer Spaniel Flush whom she brings with her to save him from her father. I am so glad it had a happy ending. It ended with them all vacationing in Italy. I love happy endings!

There must be an old victorian soul somewhere inside you. And I know the actress Jennifer Jones! I remember watching her movies when I was a kid. We don’t have a Thanksgiving holiday like yours in Korea, but it seems quite nice that you can have a day or two to sit back and think about people you’d like to thank. How can I express my appreciation for your support and friendship!

You sound just like my Grandmother who always said the same thing about me. She always told me I was born 100 years too late. I always took that as a compliment from her. I have always been like this my whole life, all almost 64 years of it. I feel safe watching older films. I don't feel scared at all. I guess that is why I love them so much and they fascinate me too.

It's so beautiful and the Liberty fabric is perfect 😍❤️. I have seen Hanon's lovely work though I haven't sewn any. This dress is perfect for cold weather though I think I'll also sew one in white for summer. Thank you 🥰♥️🤗

@@stitchbystitchwithlily8901 ㅋ감사합니다..또 찾아헤메야겠어여ㅎㅎㅎㅎ이번 요 원단은...프릴길이때문에...평소보다 크게 주문했어요...같은 색상으로 하고싶었는데 두벌해야해서...그냥 다른 색상으로했는데 그냥 같은 색상으로 배색만 다르게 할껄 그랬나바여.....언제 다 만들져....이미 머리속에선 다 만들었는데말이졐ㅋㅋㅋ항상 감사합니다^^
