Welcome Back Stranger! Oh how I have missed you! So very much. I was so worried that something extremely terrible had happened to you and that we would never see you again, ever. I absolutely love this Victorian ensemble. You know how much I love Victorian fashions like you do? You must get such satisfaction creating such beautiful ensembles for Lily. You remind me so much of my own Great Grandmother and her two sisters who hand sewed Victorian gowns at the turn of the Century for rich women who drove up in fancy carriages with horses. My Grammie use to tell me how her mother and two Aunts use to sew gowns for rich women all by hand. This was after their own mother passed away. The girls were all mother's helpers in other people's houses and made money sewing gowns. You are so incredible with your hand stitching, it looks like you used a sewing machine. Are you still attending your quilting group? All Lily needs now is a Victorian cape with capelet and a muff to go over this Victorian dress. Why not? It is not Spring quite yet, right? I always wanted a Cape with capelet and muff for my Lilly doll, didn't you? Maybe even make a little purse of some kind to go with it all. I just purchased 3 embroidery DIY material kits to sew my own purses with metal frames and I have been looking at some KZread videos to see how they do it because the step by step photos are so small and so pale looking that I can not tell what they are doing in the photos. I ordered these from Ali-express.com. The purses all have the kiss clasps. You have to embroider the outside of the fabric and then sew it all together and then sew the metal frame to the fabric and then you have a purse handmade by you. The smallest one is a coin purse. I even have a chain to attach the purse to so I can wear it as a cross body purse. They have loads of wonderful things on Ali-express. I feel so happy that you are back Professor! You made my day. This is so cute! The back looks very fancy. Reminds me of the protagonists of victorian children's books I've read. 🥺 I will have to find some nice fabric, practice a little more and try to make it soon. I'm always looking at your catalogue of videos and thinking about what to make every week. 💙🤍🩵

Hello Lily and Mum. Hope your doing well. This is such a beautiful dress. I love the peacock blue coloured fabric (and the other choices too). Sigh ! I still have fabric envy.! ! This might require help from my friend, as my eyes and fingers are not working as good as I'd wish. Problems with getting older right.? We are in Autumn here in NZ and Tui and Ivy are still in summer clothes. I need to get out their winter items and their lovely raincoats. That raincoat is a great pattern from your collection. Thank you so much for your patterns and easy to follow show'how to make it videos. Tui and Ivy send dolly hellos and hugs to Lily and yourself. 🥰

'run away ' not a chance! I've' been wanting a dress like this for ages. Thank you so very much for the pattern, this will be the next project after a 2nd ruffled fall dress(with even more ruffles added). Keep giving us something just a bit challenging, the finished result is so worth it! Keep well - it's still raining here in Scotland, but at least the spring flowers are starting to show.

몸이 불편하니 봄이 와도 정원 일을 할 수가 없어서 너무 속상해요. 별수 없이 올해는 패스하고 내년을 기다리기만, 흑흑. 그래도 바느질은 할 수 있으니 그것만이라도 감사해야겠죠. 늘 한결같이 예뻐해주셔서 감사합니다.
