Yes, it was not easy to find a pretty print in a right scale. That chicken was just so adorable that I couldn’t help it, ha-ha. Isn’t it thrilling to try a new technique? Thank you so much and happy sewing!

OMG Professor, This dress is absolutely ingenious and adorable and precious all wrapped up into one. I absolutely love the Chickee on the front with the sailor's cap. So old fashioned. I reminds me of the old lithographs on toys in the 50's and 60's. I remember sand pails with animals on them like this for when we went to the beach when we were little. How did you manage to come up with such an intricate design like this one off the top of your head? That's why I call you the Professor. Only you could come up with patterns like this. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what all those pattern pieces were going to be when they were put together? I guess my mind doesn't work that way anymore, I wished it would. How have you been feeling lately? I bet you feel really free without the plastic brace around you? Please be careful and don't hurt yourself. I am still over protective of my right back ribs from them being broken in the 1980's. I never, ever wish to go through that experience again. Lily looks so bright and cheerful in those colors that you picked out for this ensemble. Her hair barrettes match as well as the little coral bow you have on her head at the end. I love the orange/coral puffed sleeves on this dress. Thank you so very much as always for your kindness and generosity with your time/patience and tutorial and sewing pattern. I am forever grateful and humbled by your kindness.

Though I don’t know exactly why, that kind of illustrations always evokes some nostalgic emotion in me. You know there’s nothing new under the sun. I just browse everywhere I can, so voraciously that I find even more than I could chew. Inspired, but sometimes a little overwhelmed. Thank you for your concerns. I’m perfectly fine now, feeling so relieved without that horrible brace. Oh no, I’ll never hurt myself again. You too take of yourself, please.

Oh, I have built up my stash for over 30 years, but what I like most for Lily’s clothes is Liberty lawn. Recently I usually get fabrics from online quiltshops here in Korea. Though I’m afraid they have no international services, I’m sure you can find quiltshops wherever you are. Thank you so much.
