Happy Spring Professor! I am so sorry that I did not comment on your video last time and when you got back. I have not been feeling so good. You know I have an Autoimmune problem, MS and I had my annual checkup two weeks ago on a Monday. I was given a Tetanus shot and I got a very bad reaction to it. I felt as though someone beat me up with a baseball bat all over my body. It took over a week to go away. Before it even went away, my husband left on a 7 day Mountain Bike vacation with some of his friends and so Ellie and I were by ourselves. Ellie kept me up growling and barking during the whole night. I had her on the bed sleeping with me. I was not feeling well, and I was so tired for days and days. I told my husband and he told me to put her in her own bed when I go to bed so she won't keep me up because she is use to him getting her off the bed and putting her into her own bed before he goes to bed. It worked finally and not a peep out of her. Why didn't I think of that? So, finally I am sort of rested up and just got done watching this amazing video tutorial on your Blythe Doll Spring Coat. You have to be the number one artist for Blythe Doll clothes in the whole world! You are so amazing to me. The tiny little pockets with overflowing Spring Blooms is a masterpiece and gathering them up makes them look so realistic. I am very very fond of pink and I love all the colors that you used in this ensemble. Lily is the luckiest little girl around. She looks so adorable in this outfit. It is so very beautiful. I hope you are well now? What actually happened to you for your long absence? I never did find out? I asked several people online but no one could tell me. I tried to find it on your site, but was unsuccessful, sorry. How are your parents doing? How about your son in college? I better rest up tonight because I watch my sweet grandsons tomorrow and Sunday. My husband came back last night and Ellie and I are relieved. You should of seen Ellie. She was soooooooo excited to see her Daddy again. She is so warn out today from being so hyper last night poor little girl. She missed him so much and did not understand why he went away. I will be anxiously awaiting for your next Masterpiece Tutorial in two weeks. Till then, take care of yourself and have fun too. Love you!

So sorry that you were so unwell. I broke my backbone, and that’s why I had to have that long break. Oh, don’t you ever feel sorry about it. I’m now completely recovered and normal again. Hope you’ll never suffer from anything again. Don’t forget I need you there, always supporting and cheering me up. Thank you ever so much.

I love the attention to detail with the pretty lining that you can't even see in most pictures. I'm lazy so I always skip the lining, but it really makes a difference. So does the delicate embroidery. You know always know what will make a design stand out. Thank you for the videos and I hope you are well! 🩷

Wonder how I can help. How about watching one of the earliest videos on my channel, Basics for Hand Sewing Doll Clothes / Part 1? There, you’ll see how I add a seam allowance to the pattern. Thank you so much.

Professor always uses a 05cm seam allowance from the line. That is on our rulers 1/4th inch. If you have a problem drawing around the line, get yourself one of those seal allowance wheels that you put a pencil in the center opening and trace around the lines to get your seam allowance. Professor afterwards uses a pinking shears so it is not so stiff. Hope this helps.
