Hi Professor! How are you and Lily and your Mom and Dad doing? Hope you all had a nice week. Ellie is recouping nicely, except she seems to think she never had surgery at all and wants to jump and run all over the place and is so excited all the time. It is so very hard to calm down a Terrier isn't it? Well, at least she is out of danger now and now she can do whatever she wants. I still try to get her to take it easy. I love the new tutorial for this week. It has such vibrant colors in it and I absolutely love that you created different collars that can be switched out. Each collar creates such a different look about this dress and I love that about it. How did you ever get started with all of this each week? What made you want to make videos of tutorials of Blythe doll clothes for the world? I've wanted to ask you this question and keep forgetting to ask you? I think it is wonderful that you do this for others and connect with people each week. Isn't it so much fun to get with people who have a common interest like you do? I know you started this during Covid, right? I always think you are so very thoughtful and generous with your time and talents. This is a very good way to be. I am so very proud of you Professor and wish you to have a wonderful week with much happiness and sunshine. Talk to you soon.

Yes, it all began with Covid. I couldn’t have a meeting with my quilting friends that we used to have every Tuesday morning. I needed someone to share what I make for Lily. It just started with selfish motives, not with generosity. But, once it started, it seems like it has been running out of its own dynamics. Actually, I think I’ll have to figure out where I am and how I got here. I really appreciate your friendship and support. Thank you so much, as always.

@@stitchbystitchwithlily8901Professor, I see you as a very humble woman, not ever selfish. Quilting with friends sounds so nice. I use to go to our Public Library and do knitting with friends for many years, but since Covid, I have not gone, same with Porcelain Doll making classes. Covid put a stop to that because my Dr. doesn't want me to be around others in a close area without a mask. I just can't wear those masks. So I quit going for a while and it has been 3 years now. So sad how this Covid has disrupted people's lives all over the world. I mostly stay by myself every day until my husband comes home. I do have Ellie puppy as well. My husband just purchased a new 3 year license for Ellie's rolled red collar. She is such a big girl now having a license and she had her microchip put into her neck when she had her surgery too. Double protection. I appreciate our friendship and wish only the best for you my friend.

This is a wonderful idea with the collars. Your very clever. And I just love the fabric you chose for Lily's new dress. I really like the 3rd collar you made and the fact that its able to be used both ways. So cool.! Lily, of course, looks so lovely in her new dress. Tui and Ivy send hellos to you both. It's still raining here in NZ. We have had some devastating weather in towns and along the coastlines. Thankfully we have not been given so much rain as them. But rain boots and coats are almost and everyday item here of late.

I tried denim fabric once or twice on this channel. It worked out fine enough, (please watch #49 and #102 videos) but I have to say it was not so easy, nor efficient. Machine sewing would work better for denim material, I think. Thank you so much for your suggestion, though.
