  I remember when this first came out I thought It was gonna be boring, then I saw the glitchy scream and decided to give it a try and was SURPRISED… I absolutely loved it. Highly recommend.

  Its hard to believe I was so skeptical when this show was revealed as CG. I recognized there was something different from the PVs but I wasnt sold until I finally watched it and I've been absolutely in love ever aince.

  funny story, GBC also has a promotion for Blu-ray bundles in Chinese on their official youtube channel But there's no release in any Mandarin-speaking country and all the ppl just got confused and begged in the comment section for the release of the anime I mean wtf is going on in Toeia

  This video is very well-made. "Girls Band Cry" is an excellent anime that deserves to be seen by more people, and it should come with an official translation so that fans can fully appreciate its charm. I am a fan of "Girls Band Cry" from China, where the anime is very popular, but unfortunately, there is no official streaming channel available. We hope that one day it will be officially available in most regions of the world.

  Also, the CG style here is really similar (especially down to mouth shapes) to what Hololive has been doing with Vtuber shorts for years now so I wonder if there's any relation there.

  For me Link Click is a masterpiece, because it makes me feel things. Happiness, Anger, Excitement and Sadness. That’s what gets me hooked on a show. The concept could be the silliest or most overdone concept ever, if it gets me on an emotional roller coaster it’s great. Even if there’s plot inconsistencies or something (I’m not saying that is the case here!)

  *Correction:* Not only in the US but there's no official licensee anywhere else in the world AFAIK. In Asia, aside from those you mentioned, we have Ani One, Muse Asia, Bilibili, and Aniplus fighting for the seasonal anime licenses but NONE of them takes this show. That's totally bizarre considering that Bocchi The Rock revigorated the "cute girls doing rock music" hype just a year ago.

  I'm not waiting for the third season as I waited for the second. Second season was the biggest disappointment of the decade. It's unbelievable, those "villains", had to accept that the second season was written by the same person who wrote the first.

  I never really think Orange studio CG is... lets say to my liking (I dare say it's overrated, but that's just me), but GBC totally retains that classic exaggerated expressiveness one comes to expect when watching anime; all the deformation and imperfection that you subconsciously recognize and one will be weirded out when it's gone or neutered in a typical CG anime. This might be as close as we can realistically get for a TV production to ArcSys' signature 2.5D CG fighting game animations.

Im currently in Japan for working holidays, so since 1st January, Im watching only on Japanese streaming sites and without subtitles... So, I had no idea... It's weird that literally no1 licensed such a great anime for west...
