Hi Mate, cheers for the feedback. This trip and all the others the focus is always heavy tackle, but some islands aren’t good for GT and this trip for instance was on a bad moon phase because weather when it was originally planned, so there was very little heavy tackle action. We put in 1000s of heavy tackle casts at every ledge this trip it just doesn’t make it in the film if there’s no fish. I personally really love light tackle fishing as well and so if after hours of casting heavy there’s not even a look, I’ll switch and try other stuff. Why would you want to catch rare fish, instead of protecting them? There clearly is enough fish to eat that isn't rare.

Hi Mate, I'm not sure these are rare fish in terms of numbers in the ocean, just rare that they hit lures, they're not targeted commercially so in theory there's lots of them out there I've just never caught them before.

If you fillet it how you were but at the end to get the the skin off you just scrape the meat off the skin a little bit then just grab it and pull it off
