Main subject of my channel is my new found passion for aerial videography. I got my first drone in late 2016 and have been experimenting in creating aerial footage since then. I’ve gone through a few different drones and for now I settled on the Dji Mavic Pro due to the video quality and amazing portability. I hope that you will enjoy my videos and subscribe to the channel for frequent updates. If you have any suggestions do not hesitate to contact me!

Beautiful shots edited by the artist evoke emotions in us. And so it is in this case. You showed that you don't have to go to the end of the world to show something extremely beautiful. I envy the filmmaker's sense of taste and skills.
Piękne słowa. Bardzo dziękuję Robert!
Mega!

What lens adapter did you use?
I was waiting for my proper adapter form K&F when I remembered I have previously bought a Canon EF to Nikon F (G) adapter. I ended up mounting this on the sigma mc-11 EF to L mount adapter. It’s not ideal but worked in a pinch.
Super🔥 Jak zawsze pozdrawiam😎👍
Dzięki! Wpadasz w tym roku e moje strony ?
@@LiveMyJourneyTom Jak pogoda będzie to na pewno pomyślę😉👍
Ace stuff...would love to do something similar one day ✌️💚
The world is your oyster! Go out and have fun!
Poor man's Angenieux - one of my favorite workhorse lenses.
@@FrankGlencairn it is a great lens regardless of any actual relation to with Angenieux design. I love this lens but in this sort of focal range it’s only my second favourite after the Canon FD 35-105 f3.5. Obvious a lot more practical than the Canon as the minimum focus distance is half and the filter doesn’t rotate.
Beautiful images! What I would give for a 28-70mm full-frame lens, native to my camera mount, and not as heavy as a brick.
I know it’s a rhetorical question but the answer is actually 879 euro. There is a very good and super light Sigma 28-70 2.8 contemporary available for L mount 😅
@@LiveMyJourneyTom Good suggestion!! 🙃
Piękny obrazek!
Może sobie poszukam wersji pod EF żeby nie trzeba było ręcznie ustawiać ogniskowej dla gyro 🫣

Nice full frame camera and very sharp images
It’s probably not the best lens for photography on full frame as it’s less sharp around the edges and it has a vignette when used on full frame but for video it’s pretty great and it and since it wasn’t made for full frame the fact it actually covers the sensor is a bonus.
Is the 4k crop enough to eliminate the boarders around the edges from using apsc lens?
Apsc crop in and out of 4k60 is enough. This camera doesn’t have any forced crop outside of 4K50/60.
Yes thats nice stable flying, nice job, may i use your video with onscreen credits to you and a link back to you?
Thanks. Personally I’m against letting others use my video. Sorry
@@LiveMyJourneyTom No worries, cheers.
Hello, what LUT or emulation did you use ?
This was done using Kinetic Lut by Gamut and the new colour slice effect in Davinci Resolve. Kinetic is good Kodac 2383 emulation that comes in 5 flavours. It’s pricy but well worth it in my opinion.
DJI needs to fit a variable optical zoom to just one good 1 inch sensor 5k + cam with at least 60fps HDR for their next drone and their RC control with screen has to be 2000nit sustained, wonder if they will do that. Air 3 not bad for price pity you have to buy new drone every time and not just swap out cameras. Still cheaper than home builds.
I hate to break it to you but the sensor size is an enemy of an optical zoom. With sensor size the optics grow exponentially. In mobile phones they can at least use a trick with periscope design but there is not room for that in compact drone camera assembly.
They could make it bigger but not as big as Inspire 3 depends on customer demand I guess. 1 inch sensor compact cams with telescopic zoom aren't big only need zoom to max 10x would be good. Anyway DIY is best these days as DJI force too many restrictions and remote ID definate no no.
@@LandOverview it would have to be a lot bigger than Mavic 3 to be able to accommodate a zoom lens. It would probably have to be internal zoom only as external zoom would interfere with gimbal calibration. Anything that sticks out would create a drag when the camera is off axis. To keep the size of the optic small it would have to be small and variable aperture lens. Non of this is ideal.
Anything possible if you put your mind to it anyway I got bit bored with DJI it ok for price but I think I go back to building own as in 2011 and them FPV 4 motor platforms that I seen some guy mount Black Magic on is the sort of flexibility I like he did not have gimbal on it though but really getting control back over programming it and building it I missed that. Don't like the way when you don't use a DJI for a while it suddenly wants you to login or limits your flight and you have problems if no internet and it means your DJI is not yours and every update you have to jailbreak that the way things are going then it puts me off buying more from them. Unless they make my 8k now large sensor variable zoom to 10x a reality that is whilst still keeping it smaller than Inspire 3 oh and manual mode too so I can roll and loop and have fun with it too. anyway happy flying get ready for kacap arm your drone😃
"mistakenly shot the video in ISO 800" - this mistake allowed you to protect a little of highlights, otherwise it would be usual video with blown out highlights.
Bearing in mind this was shot in RAW and exposed for highlights I’m not sure how much of a difference this would make. You obviously loose highlight information while shooting with iso lower than native value ( unless highlight recovery does its magic) Shooting in higher iso has no benefit in this scenario as far as I can see. Anyhow I know how bad highlights can be it this camera if not kept under control. Thanks for watching.
@@LiveMyJourneyTom actually there is no difference in "ISO" setting. It only affects on how you expose the camera. So if you ETTR, then it's ok no matter what ISO was. Anyway on this camera ETTR is the only way to expose because highlights clipping is so bad, so noisy shadows is a tradeoff.
@MichaelWeizenfeld the dynamic range is not the best and the hi-light roll off is pretty bad. Still I’d say the overall image when properly exposed is very attractive. I prefer it to the BMCC 2.5K
@@LiveMyJourneyTom Yea, 2.5K just doesn't recognize as much colors and and has low resel.
@@MichaelWeizenfeld the colour is fine. Different but just as good. The biggest problems are the aliasing / moire and even larger crop of 2.4x
Amazing
Thanks a lot. I’ve done another one few months back. You may like that as well!
Ill take a look now, iv just got myself a new drone and always learning
@johnchadbone they got much better between when I shot this video and today. It was hard work to keep it flying smoothly like this. No days it’s super easy. I’d say sometimes maybe too easy. What did you get ?
@@LiveMyJourneyTom its great, iv just got a dji mavic air 2, not very new, but a massive upgrade from what i had, ( dji phantom 3 advanced) great little bit of kit, and the footage is amazing really
@johnchadbone air 2 was the first dji drone where they’ve tweaked the controls to make them smoother. I liked that drone. Just avoid using the HDR video. It’s quite disappointing
Fajnie 👊
Dzięki 🙏
So beautiful 👍
Amazing video and great job 👏👏👏👍🤙👋
Thank you 🤩
Mayby Cannon is vintage but still is fantastic quality, nice video :)
I like using older lenses. They will be a very good match on a camera like BMCC 6K adding their imperfections to achieve a more natural filmic look.
@@LiveMyJourneyTom is very nice
Looks really good!
Thanks a lot!
Beautifully done! I eant to live in a 60 or 120 fps world so i can slow down the best parts, and speed up the boring bits.
It’s a great option to have. Some things look sooo much better slowed down a little.
So cool 😎
Thanks bro!
👌
Thanks for share! It's a great example of what can be achieved with the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K.
Thanks for tuning in!
Image quality is immaculate. Perfect musical choice. Very, very well done.
It a very capable camera. In fact it’s the most hybrid of all hybrid cameras and most accomplished on at photos and video. The lens is also, sort of, one of a kind. I have had one issue with this video but that was down to the too aggressive stabilisation set on the camera. It causes some vignetting and wobbly corners. Thanks for your comment!
Beautiful!
Thank you Matt!
Nice. Did you use any filters it all?
Thanks. I used K&F variable ND Nano 8-128.
great shots man! this the ef mount lens, or the nikon f mount?
Both Tokinas have been in Nikon mount. I have tried adapting the EF version of 28-70 f2.8 but the aperture didn’t work and the af tired to do something but would miss 9 times out of 10. If you read my first reply it was a mistake as I shot a similar video a year later with a bmpcc :)
@@LiveMyJourneyTom got it! thanks for the reply. while were at it, is it parfocal? meaning that the focus will keep adjusted when changing the zoom?
@@linguadegato_ not quite. There is a sample variance plus there are a few models of the 28-70. Some are closer to being parfocal than others but I don’t believe any of them are.
Very peaceful. Enjoyed!

Just a simple „simple” dumb adapter from k&f concept

Świetny film
Impressive with Canon kit lens.
It’s a very good lens. People often mistake it with the dreadful 18-55 or the problematic 17-85. It’s quite bulky but the iq, the stabilisation and the manual focus are all very good.
What do you set your white balance to?
I guess about 7300K
I used to have nothing but vintage lenses when i got my A7R and A6000 at the time about 5 years ago. Still using the Rii... I wanted something that was great and I first looked at the 28-70 but youtube made the price go bonkers on ebay then I saw this video for 1:10... ordered the Tokina 28-80mm AT-X Pro for Nikon to e mount. This is gonna be fantastic!!!!! Thanks for this vid! Question, what were your initial settings including the PP used? Just curious I know things will be way different just wondering. Thanks
I still have quite a few vintage lenses but I don’t use them as often as I should. I shot this using slog3. I suppose the PP depends on the camera used. Other settings where scene dependent as I shot in manual exposure mode.
@@LiveMyJourneyTom Awesome that was all i was wondering SLOG3... looks fantastic. Yea pull them vintage lenses out and busts some vids! I like to see the different lens qualities with your awesome work. Thanks for responding to me
@tonypmedia there’s quite a few test videos like this one on my channel. Currently I think my favourite lenses are some of the Canon FD zooms like the 35-105 f3.5 and 70-210 f4. 50 f1.4 is also great. I like them good and inexpensive 😂
Niesamowita szczegółowość.
No fajnie to wygląda. Wiem że nie zawsze jest taka szczegółowość potrzebna czy porządana ale są też tryby gdzie obraz wygląda bardziej miękko.
