iPhone 15 Pro Max Somewhat "Cinematic" Video Shot in Apple Log
This video was shot on my iPhone 15 Pro Max in Apple Log. Most of the footage was captured in Blackmagic Camera App in log / H.265, and only shots where i used the dynamic stabilisation have been taken with the regular camera app in Prores Log.
I have used all the cameras apart from selfie. The telephoto and wide cameras are just ok. The main camera is definitely much better in both 24mm as well as 48mm modes.
The log profile is really flexible in editing and not too noisy when exposed properly.
Only the 120mm camera shot in log need as bit of noise reduction.
It seems its best to under expose when shooting in log by about -0.7 to -1 EV.
Overall I'm really pleased with the performance. Especially for a device that goes with me everywhere.

Really nicely shot! This camera (I can't think of it as a phone...) continues to amaze me. The image stabilisation is awesome. I'm looking forward to going to France later this week and shooting with it!

Thanks! I really like the concept of having an actual camera in my pocket at all times. It will allow me to create when the mood strikes me and there is an opportunity. Enjoy your trip!
