Do you use an nd filter? How to handle the shutter speed otherwise outside?

I don’t. People tend to overstate the importance of the 180 degree rule. It’s a good practice if you do it professionally and have a controlled set. Otherwise it’s an unnecessary burden. When I film on a cinema camera I simply set the shutter to the appropriate shutter angle and use VND to control the exposure. Same can be done in the iPhone if you use one of the third party apps like Blackmagic.

@gangs0846 that is what works for me. In Blackmagic app if you don’t locks any of the exposure settings you can press on the screen to acquire exposure and focus. When you start recording this will not change on it’s own so long as you don’t press on the screen again.

Was this recorded on 30 and slowed down to 24fps?

It was shot in 50 fps and most clips have been slowed down to 25 fps

@halimrahman it’s a creative choice. I personally don’t use it often but some people stand by it.
