That's ONE big puzzle there Neville! Thanks for the update. I hope that you put all of these episodes together and make a movie for their work and accomplishments! When will this immense undertaking be done again?

Another breathtaking video showing the skill and thousands of man hours required to make this wing airworthy . It's revealing to compare the safety precautions the "old hands " take compared to young Jacob. That's how it was in days gone by . Thankfully health and safety prevails in t9days world .Thanks Neville

It always amazes me as to how much work is involved in aircraft restoration and with the Lancaster it’s vast, it must be so hard not to loose faith when you see a wall of rivets that need drilling out!! An incredible team working on Just Jane and we on the outside are all made to feel part of it due to your videos, many thanks Neville.

Great update Neville thank you. Sorry we missed you on our visit to East Kirkby on Thursday. It was the first time in 30 years since our previous visit. We were then lucky enough to meet the late Fred Panton who then told us of the coming of Just Jane and his and Harold desire to see the aircraft one day becoming airworthy. Having had the opportunity to speak to Dave and Phil on Thursday one can see Fred's words eventually coming to fruition. Great work by all, very inspiring.

Thanks for the update Neville. The guys have been really busy again. Such wonderful workmanship. What a fantastic team they are. Good to see Janes port wing in the jig and being worked on. The rear fuselage looks amazing now. "The middle one looks a bit wonky." 😂 Very funny. Also "Why did you drill there." " Because I felt like it." 😂. Great stuff. Thank you Neville for all your time and effort you put into these updates each week recording the restoration as it moves forward. Best wishes to you mate and to everybody at the centre. Take care.👍

One of the wonderful aspects of the videos over the years is your ability to solicit patient explanations of the design, materials, and construction techniques that greatly enhances understanding, retention, and enjoyment. Makes your collection even more important from a historical record perspective. Thank you.

Another great video, thanks Neville. Great to see the wing in the jig, but a question. @ ~21m it looks like the front spar mounting bracket is not firmly bolted to the frame. Is it just a trick of the camera, or the allowance for the angle of the spar?

Awesome job going on with you guys, I took the journey through Just Jane at Biggin Hill just after she arrived in the UK. We had friends who lived in Bromley who took my Dad and me a 10yr old onto the airfield where your aircraft was parked in a hanger I got talking to one of the flyers who flew her home and asked if I could look inside. Half a Crown got me freedom to stumble my way through so this was a reminder although less bending for a young lad although climbing over the spars was fun. My hope is to see NX611 😂when she eventually takes to her wings, as let’s face it, it’s where she should be. Keep up the good work on Stewart’s Lancaster as a friend labelled it when telling me I was full of BS until she was on the BBC as she flew out of Biggin.
