    it kind of works in tandem with the awareness, but use your peripheral vision. So many times I see young players staring directly at the ball at their feet, or lifting their head before crossing only to look back down and the ball is gone. Its also a skill you can practice at home. While watching tv, look out of the corner of your eye to check the time, count the apples in the fruit basket, look out the window to see if its raining. It sounds weird but believe me, get used to gathering information without moving your head is important because you can apply that to dribbling, passing or looking for defenders on the pitch.

    The ball spinning isn't for everyone, and it makes sense. The ball should hit a flat surface which is the center of your foot with your toe pointing forward, then bounces straight up with no spin. That's a perfect juggle. I don't think it should spin at all but that's another way to juggle which i find way harder. If it spins for me i lose control compared to if it stays still. You can see the best freestylers don't have that spin.

    When i juggle. The ball dosent spin (easier for me) but if it does, the ball like goes back to me. It dosent stay in one spot. Hard to control. When i do juggle it dosent spin, which is like easier for me. Its like a good juggle, but if it spins its hard to control. Always goes back to my chest. The thing is i c many players when juggling, the ball spins and yet its still stays in one spot. Dosent go back or front,. Am i doing it correctly? How do i get the back spin without the ball always coming towards me.

  • @crysflake
    @crysflakeКүн бұрын

    You don't need to, in fact you're doing it the correct way, the ball shouldn't spin at all. Check the best freestylers, the ball stays still with their foot flat so as not to create any spin. The toe pointing up isn't good which creates the spin, making it harder to control.

    @@crysflake but why so many footballers create back spin. Mine dosent and when it does its just out of control and always goes back to me

  • @crysflake

    @@Fabfutx Well ok i went to check it out on the field and well there's just a slight backspin, just enough for the ball to remain on the same spot but not too much. If it spins too much then it will be hard to control. Where do you hit the ball ? You should be hitting it right on the center of your foot, where your laces are. If you hit it near your toe then the ball will be spinning faster which you don't want. You want just a slight backspin. Like one rotation per bounce.

  • @Fabfutx
    @FabfutxКүн бұрын

    @@crysflake if i hit it with my laces it dosent create no back spin

  • @crysflake
    @crysflakeКүн бұрын

    @@Fabfutx that's good, but why do you want backspin as long as the ball bounces straight then it's all good. When i juggle it's a combination of slight backspin or no spin. You don't need constant backspin for juggling. As long as you're able to do more than 30 in a row then you are juggling correctly.

    I mean you are completely relooking the fact that you need way more space (that you generally don’t have as a forward) to do that move than shooting with the weak foot

    1. Speed - practice the change of direction and the pace you are dribbling find whats best for you. 2. Contol - practice ball mastery and the touches you have with the ball. 3. Rythm - practice the repetition and sense of rhythm. 4. Focus - mental clarity will help in your drills.

    Another interesting aspect of doing this is that your posture is screaming to the keeper that you're going to shoot on the open side, but it can be pretty easy to go straight for the inside too, so you can even trick the keeper and send him the other way entirely. I remember a very nice Juninho Pernabucano goal like that but I can't find it anywhere ahaha
