Why Dribbling at Speed is SO Hard!
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
How to Sprint with the Ball
Running at speed is hard enough. Add a football to the equation and it can be an awkward situation all around. Well, fear not!
In todays video we’ll discuss all the steps to get you up and “running” (sorry about that).. for your first speed dribble of the ball. We’ll also talk about how to change direction, dribble through players and of course.. STOP ✋
I really hope you enjoy this one. Let me know what step most stuck out to you.
Cheers Folks,
Tony

For me it’s a bit different I just realized there’s never been a problem with my dribbling and the only thing limiting it was my heavy shin pads and the ankle strings attached to it for my stronger foot I found a lighter shin pads and for my other one I just cut the ankle strings now I feel so relaxed when playing and I can make use of my pace

i never really trained this and i’m 6’4 (195 cm) but this has always been my quality. I play center back since 3 years ago (was always a Cam or striker) and a lot of times i randomly accelerate at full speed and my ball control is good and i actually pass opponents because i’m faster with the ball then they are without the ball

Always excepting your new video! 💪 Never let me down! May I say something like the conclusion? I think all the key of sprint, stop and make turn is about controlling the gravity of the body. When you sprint, you're bending your knees. To your body, it means down the gravity. And when you having body touches, you also need to down your gravity to prevent been knocked away. Hope you can understand my poor English😅😅😅

As somebody who does sprinting and football, your sprinting form is superb, you have great posture, leg drive and that arm swing (we call it hip-to-lip where i'm from) which will also really help you in your game, not so much with technique but just the raw speed. Also, great video as always, I am already one of the best players in my team but these videos make sure I am always working on my game and in top form. And we always have something to work on! I can tell they also work great for beginners. Amazing work.

Hey pls answer i want to ask about ive heard when you dribble at speed you should extend your leg so when you hit the ball it is naturally a soft touch and it allows you to hit your top speed is it true?
@subutaynoyan5372
7 ай бұрын
No it's not, the leg extension is actually done with a specific interval in mind. When you're in your high speed zone, you want to keep a measure of control on the ball you're not making youself faster, you just want a long leg span to protect the speed you picked up but you should also be able to carry the ball with you. Having long strides to keep the ball in control is a good method at open space. But if you're going to attempt your top speed, you will have to use longer knocks

You beautiful genius
A opponent near me when am running with speed then do only one skill that's chop
age range 1-8 and 39-100+
whenever I dribble with speed and pressure in a match I kick the ball too hard either with my inside or outside of the foot and the ball moves too far away and I end up giving possession to the other team do you know how I can fix this?
@thefootballfolk
10 ай бұрын
I would suggest taking smaller delicate touches to stay more in control 😁
1 step. Focus on your conditioning to prevent lactic acid buil up in your muscles
"running comes more naturally to others" *inserts black kid running*
