    what's your opinion on the Spyderco warrior hawk? is it a legit FMA weapon or is it just a mall ninja prop? I'm considering purchasing one but I'm unsure of its viability in a self defence scenario due to its short stature

    This is crap. D blade continues to b "LIVE" especially on d parries. U will get cut for sure. U can see it. Also like most "master" they neglect d attacker's other limbs & body parts. This guy has never used d crap he teaches like most "masters " attacks r chaotic random viscious fast & come in multiples w a charge. NEVER in just one simple attack. Just get some felt markers & really really try to "kill" each other.

    Hello and thank you for the demonstration, If I may ask 3 questions: 1. Which backside (pol) is better for fighting? The hammer or the spike? 2. What size hawk is better for fighting (The Eagle Talon, fullsize Shrike, or s13 small shrike?) 3. In your personal experience what do you think would be the best all around all-use hawk a civilian could use in everyday life. (Carry, woods, urban, self defense, natural disaster etc.) Thank you

  • @GuroJeromeTeague

    I really like the eagle talon for all around use. If you’re really concerned with having a good tomahawk for all-around purposes, I recommend a full metal construction rather than the cheaper plastic or wooden handles. The eagle talon from RMJ is basically unbreakable.

  • @ThePeaceMaker09
    @ThePeaceMaker09 Жыл бұрын

    @@GuroJeromeTeague Thanks for your response, what is that makes you like the Eagle Talon for all around use as opposed to the shrike you used in this video (or other models you have tried)?

  • @GuroJeromeTeague

    @@ThePeaceMaker09 I have the RMJ Eagle Talon. I like the overall size as it is a little bigger than the shrike. I used a shrike trainer in this video because that was what RMJ gave me to play with. LOL

    all demonstrations whether free hand or with some sort of instrument like knife or stick or so are shown with defenders being active and the attacker staying idle after the first movement so the defender can show the defense ! but that defense may not work in the real life situation as the attacker would be much more dynamic and aggressive than in the demonstration and there can be a very high probability that there will be multiple hits within moments making the defender weaker with every strike ! there is no point demonstrating defenders to know and do every move and the attacker staying more or less idle ! i don't understand how students get benefited from such training ! better avoid fighting when the position is not equal or one is a bit too strong to absorb multiple hits and still get the attacker down ! bare hand against bare hand ! instruments against instruments ! and sometimes it is better to learn to run faster ! cheers :)

    The best defense against a knife is a Smith& Wesson Revolver! Five shots center mass to slow them down and then the sixth shot in single action to the head in order to seal the deal!!!
