The first Ali/ Frazier saw Frazier landing his left hook almost at will after round five. But, he saved his best left hook for the fifteen round. A thing of beauty that started at his waist with Joe leaping at Ali. Ali went down hard, but to his credit,he got back up.

They said that Ali’s trainers wouldn’t even let Ali look at the heavy bags when they had to walk through the gym Foreman was using to get to Ali’s gym. Forman hit so hard that he left huge dents in the heavy bad while training. He wrecked those bags and they had to replace them after every practice. They knew that seeing those bags and thinking about his body taking such punches. No one else could beat Forman back then, except Ali, who used his intelligence to beat Foreman by invented the rope-a-dope technique. He knew that if Foreman caught him with one of those bombs, he’d be kissing the canvas. Ali brilliantly made Foreman tax himself in the early rounds by taunting him and he had nothing left by the eighth round.

On a video or camera it looks nothing like it does in real life. The Speed is straight insane...like a bullet baseball bat. Just a eye blink...doooom....SHIN TO THE DOME. To be able to throw those kick like Mirko...U needed to be seriously fit and Athletic. But he said that it was as a teenager that he developed those. And one way he practiced is Using Boxing speed ball. But instead using his hands and fists he used his legs and kicks

The problem here is size difference. Le Banner is a heavyweight Roufus is not. Roufus could get away whit this whit LeBanner because of his agility. That would have newer worked against someone like Crocop for example.

Fury vs Usyk will be a foot battle. Usyk has the advantage of being a Pendulum boxer. When Fury is losing the foot battle, he’ll rely on his feint game.

As an American born Mexican. I was shocked when I went out drinking with my uppity cousins in Mexico. Even at a reeeeaally nice party, vip in Mexico City, swanky night districts, the men will drop whatever they're doing for a fight, if you cross a line. Even a shrimp in a polo short will go. Kinda shocked me. Definitely machismo.

Even without the context, it’s amazing to see how little he chased to prevent his opponents from escaping. He has the utmost confidence that he commands the rhythm of these encounters, and knows exactly what bait to use to catch them.

Ali had the greatest boxing skills of any fighter, the ability to slip punches, the lightning fast hand speed, his footwork, and his ability to take a punch, plus the psychological tactic he would use before a fight to frustrate his challenger.

Larry Holmes to this day is my favorite fighter of all time. His sheer size combined with such agile footwork and and incredible jab as well as his superb balance and quickness made a legendary fighter who was unstoppable in his prime. It’s only when age catches up to you and you lose a step. I hate how Tyson beating him tarnished his legacy somewhat. To this day Larry Holmes is the greatest heavyweight champion in my mind

I can tell a lot of these commentators did not watch the footage. This proves Rocky's skill, tactics, conditioning and power are all top tier. People bringing up taller foes wouldnt matter when hes implementing this style of fighting. The fact spectators and boxers think he has no skill, is why he would destroy them. They have zero clue what he's doing. All they know is the pain of the hammers.
