Tawanchai's UNBLOCKABLE Kick Explained

Спорт

Taking a kick from Tawanchai PK Saenchai is like getting hit with a sledgehammer. Because, while blocking might work most of the time, there’s a chance that your bones will break under the pressure.

    His footwork definitely sets him apart. He's so good at creating the right distances while also setting himself up for combos/counters. Also the way he interrupts his own rhythm to throw his opponent off is crazy. It's why he always looks like he's in control and never overextending, yet he lands with knockout power.

    Yeah saying a fighter has a kick like Hoost is pretty much one of the greatest compliments you can give them haha. Hard to think of a better power kicker than Hoost, only 4 or 5 come to mind to compete and most of them are Muay Thai guys from Thailand.

    one thing i noticed is when he L-steps, instead of bringing his right leg forward back into stance, he slowly lifts it like he is going to then explodes into his side teep. the opponent doesnt have the time to react to the quick acceleration and break in rhythm

  • @TheModernMartialArtist

    @TheModernMartialArtist

    That's exactly right, it's part of how he breaks his rhythm. He always explodes forwards between the normal stepping patterns, off beat.

    What I like w thank kid is that is a true and moral warrior. He respects his opponents. He is human and great athlete. I see other fighters they are criminals. They want to destroy, to harm even to kill some times. This guy when he sees his opponent down he retreats calmly and he is not jumping at him punching a many times unconscious person. These guys have primitive instincts and not respect at all. He is an exemplary warrior... someone who is teaching skills and respect as well. May God bless him.

    Shin bone strength is one of the key advantages Thai fighters usually have over foreign Muay Thai fighters of similar builds who adopted the sport later in life. Western fighters usually has the height and arm reach advantage, but you're not going to find one that's been conditioning their Shin bones since before their teens. That's why kicks from Thai Muay Thai guys are more likely to break bones than most. Should look at fights betweem Thais and Cambodias, the Cambodian fighter regularly end up with broken arm or leg after entering the ring against a Thai.

    If you're talking the relationship between the two fighters, look at who is at their preferred distance. That's usually who's winning the fight. Next look at who is dictating the pace and timing. The person who is throwing when they want to and keeping their rhythm even when the other person throws is probably winning. After that it gets more specific but those are the easiest to gauge the fight. If all else fails, pay attention to who is landing what kind of strike and how often haha
