what I noticed about GSP is he always seemed to add the best aspect of his opponent's style to his own. like the first time he fought BJ Penn he couldn't beat Penn's guard and was dominated in the ground game, but in the rematch he was doing Penn-things better than Penn, and from that point on he was known for being dangerous on his feet **and** on his back

Both GSP and John Danaher explain that this particular example was a confidence issue. GSP was always capable of beating Bj on the ground and Danaher was trying to convince him to take it there in the first fight. GSP didn't realize it was true until halfway through that fight.

GSP dominated Penn in the grappling and clearly won rounds 2 and 3 because of it. It was Penn's striking, bizarrely, that threatened to outdo GSP in fight 1, round 1 where he bust open GSP's face and was out-striking him, somewhat.

GSP was ahead of the game. Taking the best bits of multiple fighting styles, working with the brightest minds of specific fields, turning weaknesses into strengths, and combining it with a killer wrestling style and ground and pound, made GSP a legend. And many followed his path.

It is a bit long, but it's worth reading. He was betrayed by his disciple. He was left alone by all his disciples. He was killed for others mistake. He was killed though he was innocent. His own brothers didn't believe in him. His mother had to watch him die. Everyone knew he was innocent but still they killed him. He is to be treated like Kings but he chose to serve us. He still forgave the people who crucified and mocked him and he said Father forgive them for they not know what they are doing. What has more greater love than this?. All for our sake. The man Jesus Christ. He showed us true Love. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. But There's a happy news. He rose up again after three days just as he told. There is no greater blessing than having God as our Father. He's coming back soon. Let's all repent and turn from our old ways and prepare our hearts for him. This is the prophecy about the second coming of Jesus Zechariah 13:7 “Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!” declares the LORD Almighty. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones. The Shepherd here is Jesus. John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. This is the fulfillment of the prophecy. Matthew 26:31 Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “’I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ This happened near 30 AD. Hosea 6:1-2 Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. In prophecies 1day is equal to 1000 years. Which means after two thousand years Jesus will return again. And on the third day which is the 3rd millennium, we will live in his sight. We all know we cannot see God's face and live on Earth. So it's the second coming of Jesus. Luke 21:11 ► There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. Matthew 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. We are the witnesses of all these things. From the death of Jesus to 2030 there are 2000 years. Jesus is coming soon. Let's all repent and turn from our old ways and turn to the Lord. Praise the Lord. Peace and Love to you all Easter is pagan, the resurrection day of the Lord is correct and please stop taking the Lord's name in vain like saying omg or using it with a bad word or taking it in anyway that is in vain. Even the devil trembles in his name and we shouldn't use the powerful name like that. For the people who says Jesus is not God here's a verse. Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. God bless you all. Please spread this message to the ends of the world😊

GSP has base in Kyokushin karate and a Athletics. Kyokushin gives him mental toughtness and full body conditioning to full contact, Athletics gives him body that is adapteable to different training types. He improved his Kyokushin with Boxing head movemants and punches to the head. He mastered BJJ becoming an black belt, and he practiced his wresteling takedowns to have the best timing. He has one of the best fight IQ and that alowed him to combine all of that into his MMA fighting game. He has an humbel character. Truly a perfect martial artist.

GSP's biggest asset was that he was good EVERYWHERE. He probably wasnt the best anywhere, but even if you were the better striker. He could hold his own until he took you down, this was proven against Dan Hardy and Carlos Condit. Likewise agaisnt better wrestlers he proved to leverage his good striking against them such as Josh Koscheck.

Instead of just going in there and hoping that his one attribute would be enough to beat them.

Love to see a breakdown of the Fury Ngannou fight. It was shocking to watch. I never thought I would see Fury look so troubled. Looked like Fury’s normal tactic of using his size and wrestling to wear out opponents totally backfired with Ngannou more than holding his own in the clinch. Ngannou also seemed strangely immune to Furry’s feints. We normally boxers get thrown off Ngannou didn’t bite at all. Couple that was Ngannou’s chin he seemed to be able to eat Fury’s punches and then counter with harder punches of his own. I’d love to see more of Ngannou in this he boxing ring.

He can adapt to any situation and make any position he's in work for him. The fighters in the pound for pound list now are just dominant in one or two aspects of the sports. @@Johhny_B I am able to think critically, but you are drawing "clear conclusions" that are not in accordance to what Keith Kizer is stating about the whole discussion. Third party testing can be biased to fighters can be reluctant to partake in it and only opt for official testing (if such is done). ""To have your opponent basically testing you creates kind of a conflict," Kizer explained in his take on the VADA tests and the Hendricks camp's feelings that GSP had too close of a relationship with the agency. "But as I've said, more drug testing is better, so if Georges wants to test himself, go for it. That doesn't prove anything one way or the other. If Johny doesn't want to pay for extra drug testing, it doesn't prove anything one way or the other either. I have no problem with supplemental drug testing. But I have no problem with the lack of it, either." For Kizer, their testing has been effective enough: "We'll do our own tests. We've caught 17 people in the last year or so. I don't know if anyone else can say that. I'm happy with it. More is always better, so if they want to do additional testing, that's fine. But I don't think it's fair to try and pressure a fighter to doing additional testing, whether he pays for it or not."" So there it is, Keith's own opinion: such testing can be done, but if no alignment is found on trust, tests and schedules, it is fine also. You are not a biggef expert on this than the expert you originally quoted, are you?

@@InnocentiusLacrimosa You realise Kizer is referring to VADA there, right? And the conflict of interest being VADA. Not NSAC testing. He's saying VADA doesn't prove anything. Kizer is actually backing up what I'm saying.
