Worst part about studying Jon Jones is you forget everything he does once you step in that octagon.

@@remyhavoc4463 no, im a martial artist trying to copy jon jones style to take my defense to the next level and i dont even have an idea of what you're referring to, do you mean how hes in the center of the ring chasing at his opponents? he seems to do it even if he loses some exchanges like if he fails a block he will still get an angle and make a shot

Jones utilizes ‘The Way’, found in The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi. His kick combos are a perfect example- how one kick shifts his stance which sets up the next kick. He’s also extremely well rounded and doesn’t focus on only one aspect of fighting.

It's been a pleasure being a mma fan while the sport and fighters like Jon have evolved. Jon himself from his first UFC fight with Gusmao to his LH title fight with Shogun evolved before our eyes, from Shogun to DC he evolved again, and after his fight with Ciryl Jon has evolved into his final form, why are we surprised he finished Ciryl in 2 minutes? He's the final boss of combat sports.The greatest talent the sport has ever seen.

But as you showed, he relies on kicks waaay more. He also doesn't rely as much on takedowns when he's in a tight spot (based on his latest lhw fights). Would love to know your opinion on whether it's his striking or his grappling that gives him a more significant edge against other fighters (apart from fight iq).

Jones is a genetically gifted athlete, yes he works hard too, but he has great physical attributes.

Jon jones is the greatest mma fighter ever I’ve learned alot from watching his fights my first 2 fights i was not that good of a striker but i love to strike and it was me watching jon jones fight and understand that if you have a high fightIQ you can slove every puzzle

First of all,i belive Jon is best ever,this was EXEPCTIONALLY well made,i really like how you dismantled his style,for me personally Jons gameplan is always best,he Never did anything reckles.

This man captured my imagination instantly. He is clearly a methodical assassin and there is no one else that thinks like him. Valentina is the closest thing to him in the fight game.

Oh ya he's in a different class than Connor! Didn't forget after watching all of his fights I realized he just doesn't really use them all that much....which was surprising!

Noticed how Jon moves his chin to the side when Gustafson throws those nasty uppercuts,Bones is a really great fighter.

Chael said Jones could beat Tyson and Ali in the same night and I find it difficult to disagree.
