One used a cartridge case head to disassemble the pistol at the rear. I have had these pistols totally disassembled in the past. It takes about 2 minutes to completely disassemble these but one needs two sizes of drift punches to push out pins in the fire group.
It would have been nice to have him open the breach to see the follower and the type of machining. I owned a large ring hammer pistol when I was younger. It had a tight action and took a very fast burning powder to get the pistol to operate properly.
I discovered my grandpa has a post unification german Makarov, do you know what the value could be on that?
I recently found the back of one of these. Along with a LOT of 50 cal links and brass and wla few 20mm links. Also, a lot of very odd and unidentified electrical components with wires marked as "mk4 mod0"
Japanese Helmets worn by Well Built Europeans , Don't have the same Appeal .
I have M56/76 version from 1979 with just few little scrathes,I bought it for 70 euros(50+20 for shipping) on ebay from german antique shop in Coburg
I have read the service life to arsenal refit for the Tokarev pistols firing a steady diet of surplus ammo is about 2000 rounds. One of my Toks is just such an arsenal refit. All new parts inside but the slide to frame fit was an underhand toss across the shop. A considerable amount of hammers and files and vices and stones involved to get things tight again. Am I shooting holes in soft body armour? Absolutly not. And if you have no call to do that, reloads with the powder charge reduced until the pistol doesn't cycle, then add a little bit is something to consider. Why is it considered a bad idea to use submachine gun 9mm in your hand gun. Because it shakes the gun apart. Same thing with Toks.
I don't how I came across this video. I wore one of these for two years back in the 1990s. It always looked silly on my head. They look like old firefighter helmets.
Current production PPU 6.63X25 Mauser and 6.62X25 Tokarev ammo looks to be virtually identical: Both have 85 gr bullets, and both have 5.5 g of powder. The ONLY difference that I see is that the Tokarev round is longer by 1 mm, at 33mm, vs 32mm for the Mauser round. This is less than the original specifications, which called for 35.2mm for the Tokarev round, and 34.8mm for the Mauser round. So unless the powder in the Tokarev is hotter, then it would seem that the concerns of the past may no longer apply. Regardless, I've decided to err on the side of caution, and have done some reloads, reducing the powder charge to 4.8 grams, which is sufficient to fully cycle my C96. anything less and I would get stovepipes.
i also have one with a m59 hlemet cover, and it has some fabric in diffent colours (brown, beige, green etc).
The color is just horrible! Black, white, blue, red,.. would all be better. Most of the people do not live in huts made from baby poo.
I used these things in the mid nineties during a long period of training with the Italian army. The 1oz explosive charge is anaemic at best. I have found exploded grenades with a hole in the top and the body intact. The wire wound container holds the charge and is held in place by the brass strip. The aluminium cap separates from the body and pulls another strip out. This exposes the detonator (part of wire wound container) to the firing pin. Impact with mother earth SHOULD allow the firing pin to set the detonator off. Bad piece of kit.
A superb weapon which was even better when fastened to the wooden holster. Cone hammer? Surely known as the broom handle?
Hi, how was the earlier model of the M39 (co ring) carried by the troops? Also, how many were issued to each infantrymen?
Another very pretty example, the fireblued controls and small parts make for a very gorgeous combination with the dark blue.
They definitely had older parts left over and just used them up, that's what makes the most sense. Makes for a just slightly distinct variant which ends up rather elegant, and this example is in very good condition.
I believe the "sniper face veil" you demonstrate on the strichtarn helmet cover/ jacket hood , is actually a mosquito insect net, to protect the face in forest areas..............but ,as you say, would offer some camouflage element. The Swiss jacket netting is printed in a camouflaged pattern, while the DDR netting is plain grey green.
I can't weigh in between these pistols. But Ive had a 75 compact decocker for just about ten years now. I have or have shot 1911s, M&Ps, 92s, Sigs, Rhinos, Glocks, not all but quite a few. At 6'9, my hands are bigger than most and my absolute favorite to shoot is my 75 compact. Hands down. Not a question. Obv I like 1911 triggers the best, but overall comfort, angle, grip, recoil, I'll take my baby CZ any day. Carry it? Maybe not. Its heft is its biggest selling point. That said, I picked up a Shadow 2 SA about a month ago but havent had a chance to get out and drive it yet.
Bullshit, my cz runs great.
I have a VLD marked mauser. small ring. shallow milled on frame. serial number in the 38,000. Illl be posting a video about it tomorrow, beautiful pistols. great video
PO1 is definitely a must carry gun for me love it😍😍😍
Is the grip length the same?
the waffenamt is so beautiful makes this gun like stunning
worst helmet in history in my opinion sheerly because of its inferiority to the old stahlhelms
Looks like star wars too me. And it has a certain charm. I like it.

ASTRA 400 WHAT ABOUT ..9MM X20 BROWNING LONG . OR 9MM X21 ITALY . TRY A VIDEO NO ONE HAS MADE ONE.
Looks like a mike b I found this on a secret auction site!🙄 Jman
That is a tremendous find! I have an SS M35, an M40, and an M42, but only the M35 is a double decal.
If you think these were bad, the Italian 'Red Devils' were even worse.
Des Génies en mécanismes si complexes déjâ à cette époque ...
Why they made a variant only 0.3" shorter is the biggest question, the difference is too minuscule to have this option. Of course if you are dead set on concealed carrying this, sure get the Centurion. But for all other uses just get the full size.
Exactly.
The TT-33 has a safety lock. And it's quite reliable. You just don't know how to use it.
Yapan ustanın eline sağlık İşçiligi çok güzel... Emeğinize sağlık güzel bir çalışma olmuş
Tks just got one
Great video ! I’ve here guys say the centurion had a 15 round capacity !
i'd actually say the glisenti model 1910 was the worst, overcomplicated, jammed alot, bad cartridge, sure the 94 had the problem with going off without pulling the trigger, but other than that it atleast could shoot
what are the hammer markings on some Nagants? looks weird to be just a "T"
This is made in a factory in northeastern China.Made by the Communist Party
This guys thumbs tho… 🤮
Very useful information!
Very nice presentation! Thank You !😀😀
Из подсумка они должны извлекаться за ручки и лежать в нём вниз большой частью.
The first time or two can be difficult to take them apart but after that no big deal. Although you didn’t recommend using other than 9mm Largo I personally would say do not use any other ammunition than what the Astra was designed for.
If you compare side by side an M71 and an M18 you can easily see that the M71 is essentially a cut back M18, definately keeping the tradition alive. The original issue of the M71 was black, now hard going on impossible to find as moany were refurbished in green; later production as you show it. The loop at the back is a later feature; some helmets were refitted (as this one is) with an essentially clip-on loop, other ex-factory helmets had the loop rivetted directly to the shell. But most M71 out in the wild don't have either. The replacement for the M71 ws a version of the German Schuberth 826, with a couple of modification to Swiss spec, mainly regarding the liner and chinstrap.
Thank you for this vid. I’m here because I actually just found one at a scrapyard of all places, and was trying to date and ID it. It’s the later variant, but still very cool, and in great shape other than the mud on it from being thrown out.
Is there a more modern pistol besides the broomhandle that shoots 7.63?
The Ukrainian Drone operators love these things. They make a real mess of Ivan's armor.
Tengo una hi power serie 189544 de que año podría ser su fabricación?
Sorry to tell but this is police variant similar to navy and air force, this helmet was restored in 1990's early 2000's simply removing eagles
